Sierra pov..
I couldn't let him do it. Fear shook through my entire body, like my soul was slipping away.
"Please," I begged, my voice trembling. I wasn't ready for this. "Just give me a few more days. I promise I'll do whatever you want. No fight."
He paused. Slowly, I opened my eyes, still full of fear, and met his gaze. To my surprise, he stood up, put his shirt back on, and stared down at me.
"I'm only doing this because I love you," he said. "But when your time is up, you'll be mine forever."
He walked away, leaving me confused and cold inside. I wrapped my arms around myself, trembling more than I ever had before. Tears streamed down my face, the weight of everything crashing down on me.
I laid down, wishing I could disappear, never wanting to see his face again. My head spun, and I hoped sleep would offer an escape.
But just as my eyes closed, a soft touch startled me awake. I opened my eyes to find him staring at me.
Fear hit me hard, and I moved away quickly, afraid he had come back to force himself on me again.
"What do you want?" I asked, dread twisting in my chest. I prayed it wasn't what I thought.
He sat closer, and I scooted further away, keeping my distance.
"Are you hungry?" he asked, like before. I remembered his last offer of food and quickly said, "Yes, I am."
He smiled and reached out his hand. Reluctantly, I took it, my heart racing. He gently pulled me up and led me out of the room.
I was too anxious to speak, my mind racing. He brought me to a larger room and then left. My nerves spiked, unsure why he brought me here or where he went.
Suddenly, the door creaked open. He stood there with a basket of fruit.
"I'm sorry I can't give you a proper meal," he said softly. "I hope this will be enough."
I took the fruit, trying to read his expression, but his eyes were empty. He left again, leaving me more confused than ever.
I expected him to force me to eat or to yell, but he just walked away.
Nibbling on the fruit, I realized something strange—since I arrived, he had only given me fruit, nothing else.
After eating, I sat and waited, but he didn't come back. Minutes dragged on, and he didn't return.
The thought of escaping crossed my mind, but so did the idea of finding him. Feeling too alone, I decided to get up and look for him.
As I wandered through the house, I noticed how empty it was. It seemed like he was the only one living here.
Then, I saw him near the exit, sitting, lost in thought. I approached cautiously, curious about what troubled him.
As I got closer, he turned and locked eyes with me. Unsure of how to react, I instinctively stepped back.
He held out his hands, urging me to come closer. Hesitantly, I placed my hands in his, letting him pull me toward him.
"Please stay with me for a while," he said softly, catching me off guard.
I didn't know what to say. Why was he acting like this all of a sudden? I tried to smile, but fear still ran through my veins.
"I love you," he whispered as I turned to face him.
I didn't know how to respond. His feelings didn't match mine, and I felt trapped.
He stood and leaned in to kiss me. My body reacted on instinct, pulling away from him. I saw the hurt flash in his eyes.
Backing up, I realized I couldn't stay here any longer. I needed to get away from him.
"I need to go to my room," I stammered, desperate to escape.
Before I could leave, his voice stopped me in my tracks. There was so much sadness and loss in his tone.
"Please stay. I love you," he begged, rising to his feet. "Don't go. Stay with me."
