The atmosphere grew heavy as I observed the dark clouds swirling ominously above, the eerie silence broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves.
Beside me, Rachael lay unconscious, her breathing shallow and labored.
"It seems like she's about to wake up."
Despite my casual glance in her direction, my instincts were on high alert.

Suddenly, a low groan escaped Rachael's lips, and I moved closer to her.
Her eyelids fluttered and then slowly opened. Yet instead of her beautiful azure blue pupils, what greeted me were eyes that had turned a sinister form of red.
Even though I knew it would be like this, I was still taken aback in my heart. However, before I could react, Rachael shot up abruptly, her hands clutching her head in agony.
"—AHHHHHHHH!!!"
Her anguished scream echoed through the dungeon, and tears streamed down her cheeks like rivers of despair.
