章 82: Taotie vs. Taiwei!

When the Heavenly Emperor's roar thundered, all lives across a thousand miles perished immediately. Thankfully, the place where Taotie confronted Taiwei was far removed from the Yin Dynasty, or all its people would have been reduced to powdered debris.

Taotie wasn't surprised by the Heavenly Emperor's ruthlessness. With the exception of the Jie Gods, most deities of the Celestial Realm didn't care about mortals. The Heavenly Dragons were even worse, outright seeing mortals as disgraceful pests that had no use besides worshipping their divine masters.

In a flash of golden lightning, Taiwei bolted at Taotie, sending his massive fist crashing into the primeval glutton. Taotie crossed her arms over her face, blocking Taiwei's punch. Golden lightning surrounded the emperor's fist, and as it crashed into Taotie, a rumbling blast followed, shaking the heavens and earth.

Absorbing the Heavenly Emperor's punch, Taotie reeled back but stabilized herself almost immediately.

I have been working on two portraits for adult Huan Yi. They're VERY similar (like almost identical, but with tiny differences in the facial expression and coloring) but I can't decide which one to settle on.
