章 11: Dimensional Firearms System
Early in the morning, he wakes up and washes his face on the sink in the bathroom.
Then, he goes to the toilet bowl to take care of his business.
Yesterday, after eating some pizza, he felt something he haven't felt for awhile. That is the call of nature.
He only drinks water and when he feels himself going to pee, he just take a piss on the broken stairs to the first floor. There are only corpses in there.
He did that because he wanted to take care of the second floor first. Now that he have some spare, he finally decided to upgrade the area on his bathroom where the toilet bowl seems to be located.
The toilet bowl took three upgrades to turn it into a Super Toilet Bowl. He did it because he wanted the advanced functions. He have to clean his own butt after he is done doing his thing there after all, so he wanted it automatic.
Despite living in this place without electricity, the only thing he wouldn't want to do is to clean his own shit. It's still too disgusting for him.
Anyway, after he is done taking care of his business there, he leaves the bathroom and walks over to his bed. Sitting there, he opens the dimensional storage and takes the pizza box in it.
He opens it, letting it's aroma to his nose. There is a brand new and warm ham & cheese pizza inside it.
Yesterday night, he have eaten his fill again and closes it. He discovers that it will refill itself anytime he closes the pizza box.
It truly is an infinite amount.
Before eating, he didn't forget to take the water bottle on the cold storage.
With that, he eats in peace.
While eating, he is thinking about what to do next.

"Hmm... maybe I should try that?"
He said while thinking about his energy pistol.
He is surprised when the oven turned into a literal system. Though it seems like ODO is only limited to warm food.
So he thinks "What if I do it with my pistol?" and decided to do just that after eating.
"I hope I get another system!"
He have already asked ODO about it and the ODO accepted his reasons. He read from some system novels that these mysterious powers are sometimes possessive or just basically jerks. He is glad that ODO is not like that.
It seems like he have the highest clearance level to use it, being it's own creator. So it isn't hiding any of it's capabilities.
ODO told him that normally, it will be restricting it's users and giving them objectives. This is to ensure that they will always be used by the user.
As the one with the highest clearance though, he is free to use ODO as he sees fit. ODO have to obey every of his words.
Though it can't do anything without converting something into points. It really needed the points to make itself function.
He asks it why points and it says that it is accumulating energy so it can do some emergency functions when something happens to it's user. So it is always asking for something to be converted.
Actually, it originally wanted food recipes or valuable materials like gold to be converted into points. It said that those things are more energy efficient than just the common drabs on the ground.
But because of him, it takes off all of those restrictions and will convert anything, even if it's not energy efficient.
He took three more slices of pizza before finally feeling full. He closes the box and put it back on ODO's dimensional storage then refilled the water bottle on the sink before putting it inside the cold storage.
After that, it is finally time to upgrade the Energy Pistol.
"I will be using all of my upgrades on it!"

The pistol turned into many forms before finally vanishing, then he felt something connecting to him. It's the same feeling as to when ODO connected to him.
["Scanning user... complete"]
["User eligibility... absolute"]
["Greetings Neil Howard. This is the Dimensional Firearms System. One of the greatest system on this universe who holds millions of blueprints for weapons."]
["You will need points if you want to use my functions, so you have acquire it by converting everything, even a particle, to my storage."]
"Okay, I already know all of that. ODO also functions like that."
[".... Understood"]
He don't know why but it felt like his new system suddenly felt ashamed after noticing the other system.
He shakes his head before asking a question.
"So, do you have any weapons in your shop that can help me?"
["I have a lot of things in my arsenal, you only need to ask for it."]
"Okay. Then I want something to secure myself. Do you have anything like a turret or something?"
["Affirmative"]
After saying that, it shows a lot of blueprints about turrets. It ranges from the normal turrets up to the futuristic ones like the laser turrets.
He is looking for that, but looking at the prices makes him frown.
"Those are high digits. Even the cheapest turret costs 10,000 DP."
["Please understand. The weapons in my arsenal are the best of the best. Weapons out there can't compare to my blueprints!"]
It sounds so proud despite saying that in a monotone robotic voice.
"Okay." He said as he thinks this through.
He didn't know where to get that much DP. The large amount of debris only amounted to 1,200 DP. There are no more like that in this floor.
He can go to the third floor, but he didn't want to take off all of those debris in there. He isn't really scared that the building might collapse now because he have the ability to repair things by just upgrading it.
No. What he is scared about is the unknown. He didn't know if there are anything beyond those debris.
What if there are monsters trapped beneath there?
His paranoia saves him from trying to take out the dangerous birds. So he wanted to trust his gut feeling. That's why he won't go on the third floor without making sure that he is truly safe.
It's the same reason why he won't go below or explore outside the second floor.
There are not much within this second floor. He have taken care of all of the debris, and the scraps might not even give him a decent sum.
There is only one thing he can do.
"I'll do this tomorrow." He said, thinking of the pizzas.
If infinite pizza already cost a hundred trillion, then what if he upgraded that pizza again?
He wanted to see it first, and if it did what he is expecting it to be, then he will use it to acquire more points!
