Mina asked as if it was the most obvious answer to that. She couldn't even image how that feels like. How the dead suddenly wakes up from his supposed to be slumber only to torment the ones that had ever showed them any kind of affection; she couldn't fathom the thought if her mother would ever just walk in her life one day.

If she was actually being honest, she hates her. She hates the fact that she was left all alone and couldn't be bothered with taking care of a child that she had. Thoughts about her own birth had drown her long long ago that she thought that she had finally carried herself safely to shore. Years later, she was about to become a mother and had always wondered why her mother left just like that; she wondered if life could have been so different for her already.
