章 42: Dancing With A Stranger

"Irene!!! You have to come quick!!!" A maid had come running in the garden. She blushed when she saw her friend, Irene had her head on the gardener's lap. They were in the middle of the garden and were resting on a pastel pink blanket laid out on the grass with white petals scattered everywhere. The ambiance was further emphasized by the amount of scented lavender candles at the sides. The two were in an intimate atmosphere that she had clearly disrupted. For a moment she didn't know what to do.

Jane, the gardener, cleared her throat but didn't move. She didn't want to hurt Irene's head so she could only smile and patted her head.

"It's okay. It looks really important. I'll be right here, don't worry." She reassured and smiled at her.

Irene's heart melted and had to stop herself from smiling. He sighed and sat up and glared at the other maid which she evidently gulped. 

"Don't wait for me okay?"
