章 4: Chapter 4

Author's note: Hello to all readers. I have edited and removed Zenith Tempest from the previous chapter as MC can use elemental manipulation thanks to his bloodline and supernatural manipulation rather than using sacred gear to manipulate elements. Now MC will only have Divine dividing and Canis Lycaon. Now further ado let's start.

{Time Skip 19 years}

[Bellwood, USA 2004]

In a beautiful mansion, we find a handsome man in his room. He has slightly tan skin with a body which is muscular and athletic for his age. He had dark blue eyes with black hair.

This person is none other than Rex Tennyson who reincarnated in Marvel (MCU).

In these 19 years, Rex has seen many things in his lifetime. Some of them are surprising and interesting for him.

Firstly, he got to know about his new family. He is the only son of Andrew Tennyson and Irina Tennyson. When he heard the surname Tennyson, it was kinda not shocking for him because he knew that. He enjoyed his life to its fullest with his new family.

In this world, his dad is the only child of his grandparents. You can say that Rex's father is the single child of Max Tennyson and Verdona Tennyson. He has no cousins or siblings. So, Rex's case, Gwen Tennyson is not in this world.

Rex also met his grandmother whom he got surprised to see that she is an Anodite like from Prime Ben's world. When he first met her, he could feel that her mana is more stronger and denser along with her experience.

Max Tennyson, his grandfather was a retired air force general and a member of Overwatch. That's right, he was also a plumber not the one who fixes pipes but the ones who fight against extraterrestrial threats. But this was different from the ones that Rex knows.

The Overwatch is a secret organisation created to fight against extraterrestrial threats. Maxwell Tennyson is the leading founder of this organisation. He created it after his adventures across the universe with Verdona. After coming back, he knew that there are forces that will come to Earth.

Unlike the plumbers from Ben 10, Overwatch is kinda similar to plumbers but on a different scale. While the plumbers are universal level, Overwatch are planetary level. Both organisations also possess high tech equipment and gadgets that are highly advanced compared to Earth's technology.

Max made sure to make Overwatch completely hidden to anyone. It is kinda a secret private organisation. It is so secretive that SHIELD or any government couldn't find about it.

Suddenly Rex comes out of his thoughts when Albion calls him.

Albion: [Thinking about your life again partner.]

Rex: Yes it is Albion. So many things happened. But still relinquish my memories that I made here.

So Lycaon are you awake or not?

Lycaon: {I am awake from my nap thanks to both of you.}

The voice belongs to Lycaon who resides in the sacred gear Canis Lycaon. A year later after Rex's birth, he met Lycaon and got know about the wolf spirit. In DXD, it wasn't mentioned or shown that no past possessor of Canis Lycaon met the spirit of Lycaon in the sacred gear.

Rex thought that Lycaon would be evil because in Greek mythology, he was known as cruel and impious king who tried to trick Zeus, the king of the gods into eating human flesh. He knows that Zeus punished Lycaon and his sons by turning them into werewolves.

Instead of what Rex thought, but it come out completely different. Lycaon is serious, calm, strict, caring and aggressive. He is very cooperative when he started to train Rex in using his sacred gear.

Though it was odd for Albion and Lycaon because they have shared the same host. But later, they decided to co-operate with each other.

As for Rex, he can use both sacred gears with complete mastery. He unlocked both of the sacred gears at the age of 3.

He unlocked the balance breaker of both longinus and mastered them to the level where the time limit of both balance breakers are completely gone. Also he unlocked new forms of both sacred gears.

Both Albion and Lycaon were surprised with Rex's performance. During their training sessions, Rex adapted and learnt everything quickly with Albion and Lycaon as both of them show no mercy in training. He was able master every abilities of both sacred gears with his talent and efforts completely.

Rex's mastery over his sacred gears are to the point where he can battle multiple powerful opponents and defeat them easily or can destroy a world without breaking a sweat.

Lycaon:{Now what is your plan for today?}

Albion: [Today you are going to collect the artifact.]

Rex: Yes, I am going to collect it. Ever since I got an interest of collecting artifacts, magic books, weapons, etc. Also I don't want any of those being in wrong hands.
