章 2: Is this... Heaven?

I rummage my suitcase with files and run my fingers through my hair to "comb it out" then I run out my room and quickly go down the stairs, "Eat something Before you leave!!" Peach yelled from the kitchen, i groan as my hand rests on the door nob, i run towards the kitchen and i grab a toast that had one side of strawberry jelly and grape jelly on the other, "Thanks Peach." she nodded and waved me away, "now go to work." i gasp and stuff the toast in my mouth and i run out the door, while running i could hear Peach having a laughing fit. Thank goodness that the building is close to home, i check in and go into an elevator and pressing number 15, i let an exasperated sigh and lean against the elevator wall, "he's gonna be so mad..." i wait a while before the music of the elevator stops and theres a *ding!* im greeted by my boss yelling at a young woman, "Where is my secretary?!" his face was furious and the young lady had her eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, I walk in with a deep inhale and smile, "right here sir..." i say calmly as the woman lets out an *Eep!* and smiles as if grateful that im here, she dismisses herself and leaves. My boss rubs his temple with one hand and tuns his fingers through his hair, "You are over half an hour late. Why?" he looked over at me with fire in his eyes, "w-well..." "you know what i dont want to hear it." he then let out a very suspicious smirk, "come here..." I sigh and walk towards him before his gets all up in my face, bending his index finger and putting the inside on my chin, "you'll just have to stay after work...meet me here until then." i gulp and nodded, while i thought to myself, 'oh dear...'
