After Hunter's meeting, he sat at his desk, his attention fully absorbed in the stack of documents in front of him.

He raised his head when his phone buzzed on the corner of his desk, and as he picked up the phone, he turned his neck to both sides when he realized how cramped it felt.

He glanced at the screen, and a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth when he saw it was a text from Delilah containing the details of their date.

Hunter checked his watch. It was almost time for his date with Chloe. Time had slipped away from him. He quickly dialed Alex's number, knowing they needed to get moving.

"Hey, Alex. Come over to my office. We need to get moving now," he said as soon as Alex picked up.

"Sure thing, on my way," Alex replied.

Hunter hung up and quickly organized his desk, ensuring everything was in its place. Less than three minutes later, Alex walked in, looking as composed as ever.
