On the surface of the continent, factions have begun making their move. The Order, is taking children from the outskirts of the Kingdom of Umbra, planning to end the long-standing Eastern-Caliphate War in one fell swoop. The ancient Bloodcoil Sect, worshippers of the Divine Snake, are plotting their return to the martial world. Noble families vying for power are tearing the Kingdom apart, to be the next ruling dynasty.

Underneath the chaos, below the very earth. Trapped. A boy, kidnapped and starved, stands at the centre of it all.

Left in the dark, Aziz is imprisoned in a hole in the ground. But he was not alone. A black-death, thought to be extinct, mysteriously appears in the pit, bent on devouring the little boy.

Try as he might, fate cannot be denied as Aziz dies in agony. Only to rise again, suddenly able to see in the dark. Every death, Aziz comes back—stronger. He will endure a thousand deaths if that’s what it takes to break free and exact revenge on those who condemned him to this endless nightmare.

Revenge is a common desire, but all desires blind even the wisest from the truth.
