this story so far has developed nicely. waiting to see the further progress of the characters.
Based on the free chapters, this is quite promising. Most Chinese web novels taking place in modern times tend to focus on wealthy society, it's refreshing to read a story taking place in a poor village. The MC is likeable and capable, but not too OP. The writing and translation quality are decent enough. My only complaint is that it's pretty stingy to only give 14 free chapters.
