章 7: Recruitment Process
There were 5 pills in the inventory. They looked like pearls. Since it was healing pills he can use it now.

He saw his health raise to 60% from 15%. "Only 60% health, where is rest of it ?" asked Melvin.
"Loss of spirit vein have affected the health of host. It cannot be healed using pills. " replied system. When he heard this he can only sigh about his misfortune.
When the sage waked up in Melvin's body, it was night. Melvin came to training ground at night. After Melvin some others also came, but none as young as Melvin.
They had to wait until morning. At the first light the saw few officials in army walking towards them.
After the officials neared them, one of them began to speak. "All of you came from different situations. All of you came for sa me purpose: jobs. But you guys need to to know that you will be going to the unit situated at the border of great forest. There may not be attackers with weapons there. But there will be demon beasts there. They will attack when our guard is down. They attack viciously. You guys need to know that less than 10% of people recruited for works at that unit came back. So now we will give some time to back up now. There won't be another chance. If any of you run away after joining the army you will be considered as traitors and will be executed."
None have backed up after hearing the speech from official. After some time the official spoke again. "Since none have left all of you will be participating in the test. The people behind me will test about your abilities to do different works. Before that all of you need to register your names and details. After that each of you will go to an official and describe what you can do. That's all for now."
After that the registration started. Melvin registered under the name Marvin. There was no last name. He decided to change his name to Marvin. As a result the there was a change in the name to Marvin at status window. This surprised Marvin. He changed his name so as to not be recognized. Then he walked towards the nearest official. He was an officer with bulky body. He was the tallest of them. His eyes have coldness in them. From his cold eyes one can see that he have massacred a lot of beasts or people.
He stared at Marvin for some time. Then asked in a deep voice " What can you do kid?"
