After Max reported that Kayden had seen Odon settle into the Hamptons Hotel, I decided to have dinner with Eli there. He did not say much at first, but I could see the curiosity in his eyes. I leaned in, keeping my voice low but calm. "I wanted to take a look at the Budapest Mafia leader, Odon," I said. "But discreetly—no need to draw attention to ourselves. I also want to know who he's meeting."
