章 1: Chapter 1 The Massacre on That Night
Fire—
Flames had erupted everywhere, seemingly from nowhere.
In her deep sleep, the thick smoke nearly robbed her of all her breath…
"Cough, cough…" Yinyin suddenly woke, covering her mouth and struggling to push open the basement door, "Brother, it's on fire…"
As she spoke, a blaze rolled in, swallowing her hair.

Yinyin stiffened, turning sharply to see through the crackling flames, two figures likewise fallen in a pool of blood inside the room, "Dad, Mom…"
She rushed in crazily, kneeling before Mu Wei, staring in terror at the numerous gun wounds on him, "Dad, what happened? Hold on, I'll call an ambulance, sob sob…"
She turned to look at the woman lying beside him, but she was already breathless.
The girl was overcome with grief, "Mom, wake up, Mom…"
Just moments ago they were all fine, she had merely gone to the basement to hide from her brother and had accidentally fallen asleep…

The long curling eyelashes still had two drops of crystal-like tears, her pupils scattered on waking, undisguised vulnerability inspired pity.
Even disguised as a man she was enough to captivate everyone, let alone as a woman…
Because it was her brother who had been killed, to elude the evil pursuers she had had no choice but to disguise herself as a man, and moreover, the inheritance of Yunmu Medical Group could only be passed to a male, though it now lay in another's hands.
But that didn't matter, she would take it all back.
"Just a bit, did you dream of Uncle, Aunt, and Brother Ke again?" Chi Ying didn't need to ask to know what was troubling her, pulling out a tissue, wiping her tears tenderly.
