 There was a loud bang that was annoying, even the pounding continued for more than a minute, beating the alarm clock. Helena seemed to be trying to ignore the sound of Nina's banging, hoping she could return to her peaceful sleep again.

 This time, it wasn't just a pounding on the door, but a tug that forced Helena to open her eyes. Nina entered using a spare key, because she was sore from pounding on the door, but the person in the room didn't wake up but curled up.
