"Younger brother Tang Yuan, did master come back?" the three disciples, with the oldest name Li Jing, and the two younger called Li Yin, and Li Tong asked. After so many occasional conversation and cooperation, the seven of them, especially the one followed Zhang Wu Ji for the longest, Tang Yuan, is accepted by the seven as the big brother of the group.
Zhao Xiao Hua will be the big sister as she was the only female in the group, and the three disciples will take the three youngest spot among the seven of them. Of course, this seven positions that they created by their own also carried a very special meaning, which is the seven that received the "Blessing" from Zhang Wu Ji in the period of their servitude.
"Younger brother Li Jing, Senior Master did return from his little trip to the Yun Village, but he's having his rest now to rejuvenates his fatigue accumulated after staying in the Tian Village and Yun Village for so long." it was awkward for Tang Yuan to address Li Jing in such a way, but the three insisted that they were to be treated in such a way, this is a form of their respect towards those being with their master longer than the three, and also being the one that understand their master the most.
Meanwhile, Zhao Xiao Hua, Zhang Ya Pin, and Bai Hei Tie are reaching their important stage to enter their 1st Stage of Inner Qi Fighter, thus the three of them is still staying in their own room to break through. At this moment, only Tang Yuan is outside handling most of the matters related to the Ninth Courtyard. This is also the reason why Tang Yuan is the oldest brother among the seven of them.
It was because of his straightforward approach and dependable personality that made the other six to appoint him as their oldest brother. While they were busy discussing their master's condition, Zhang Wu Ji is busy with his own matters. It is accurate to say that, one after another, the task keep on coming and piled by his side.
The reason is that he finally noticed the pile of book that was stacked on a corner of his room managed to lure him into his Reading mode once again. Among the pile of books, Zhang Wu Ji found a very interesting book named;
[Jadeite And Nephrite Manufacturing Technique]
The content written in this book is extremely accurate, and before it was upgraded, the success rate when having this book as he refines the jade is increased by 30%, and the quality of the refined jade is at 55%. This is why instead of resting, Zhang Wu Ji made use of his time to process this book before he rewrites it again to increase their efficiency.
With over 7500 strands of Inner Qi, Zhang Wu Ji is currently a 1st Stage Inner Qi Fighter about a quarter more to the second stage. Although the advancement to 2nd Stage doesn't require the cultivator to went pass an enlightenment, it was still an important ritual for one to meditates until they break through the border.
The book of the Jadeite and Nephrite Manufacturing Technique is extremely thick, but that was because most of the content related to the material sources are mixed together to form this thick book. But under him, he separates the content into three parts before he begins his rewriting.
The Jade's composition, strength, and weaknesses.
The method and way to work with the jade, and also the stability of a jade.
The source and attributes of a Jade.
The three sections of descriptions are further repaired, their word is enhanced, and the meaning in the words on every step is then imbued with a source of confidence, because this soon to complete book may soon become his next most precious treasure, after the Bronze Grade Nourishment Art. In his own thought, Since the Bronze Grade Nourishment Art is only at the bronze grade, will there be a Silver, Gold, and even stronger grade?
But that was something to be answered in the future. The amount of Strands of Inner Qi in his body allows him to rewrite the whole book in a single night. And by the next morning, Zhang Wu Ji has already completed his first round of rewrite and was preparing for the second round. It did not take him to long to completes that because his memory about what he will write is already imprinted inside of his mind.
After comparing three version of his rewriting, Zhang Wu Ji finally agreed with the end results, but still, he hesitates to fuse them into one. He lands his finishing touches on the book the moment it successfully entered the +5 Upgrade. In fact, he did try upgrading the two remaining version of his new copy, but before it entered +6 Stats, the book disintegrated into a pile of Ashes of Failure.

"I guess it should be time for me to go and process the materials." Zhang Wu Ji changed to a new set of clothing before he went out from his room. It was a little late in the afternoon, making the center courtyard is void of people walking or resting for a tea.
Unobstructed, he walked into the Blacksmithing room. He arranged the powder from the Melting Crystal to be positioned near his Furnace for easy access before he started. But it wasn't the starting of his Refining Works, but Zhang Wu Ji actually executed the New Firestone Upgrading Technique. With a large amount of Firestones in his Blacksmithing Room, Zhang Wu Ji upgraded them one after another, until the amount of firestones in his room is completely replaced by a total of 50 Flame Rocks.
The Flame Rock usage is practically similar to the Firestones, but the only differences are the heat generated by the rock can reach 1,000 Celsius at starter and can be increased until 2,200 Celsius maximum. Although this amount of heat was over the melting point for the Jade, they were also can be used to force the jade to enter their maturity stage. A matured Jade have to went through numerous amount of molten and heat to increase the strands of Jade Crystals in their composition.
The more the strands of Jade Crystal is formed inside of the crystal's body, the sturdier and stronger it will be. To achieve this reason, Zhang Wu Ji decided to imitates the strength of the flame stronger than lava to promotes the building of the Strands inside the jade body, and that will be before he splits them into their own respective Jadeite Rock and Nephrite Stones.
Although the two jade were equal when they were mixed together, the fact Jadeite's gravity differences are much higher than the Nephrite. With one lighter and another heavier, the molten Jade can be divided from one another easily without too much effort is required. And in between, the Distinction Jade Manufacturing Art also promotes the separation speed, allowing him to completely separates the two from one another.
In the following, Zhang Wu Ji process each of the blocks of jade arranged neatly in the shelf and separates them into two parts. The procedure took him half a day to complete before he focused on refining the piece of jade, only accepting the top quality jade and reprocessing the jade again. This procedure again too him another half a day, as he falls asleep inside of the Blacksmithing room after a while.
In the next morning, the sound of Slave Disciples moving the Firestones wakes him up, as he was completely exhausted during his attempt to process the Jadeite and Nephrite. But his end product does attract the attention of the Slave Disciples especially one of them who was staring at the total of twenty pieces of beautifully processed Jade blocks.
"Di's Jade! This is the Low-Earth Quality jade!" the slave disciple kneeled before the piece of Di's Jade and absorbed into what he was doing as he stares at the jade-like it was able to suck a person's soul into the jade. But before that happened, Zhang Wu Ji called him back into his mind as he stands up and bows at the Master Senior for his atrocious act.
"Did you mentioned that this is the DI's Jade? Tell me where you learned about it." Zhang Wu Ji asked. The reason is not that of his action irritates Zhang Wu Ji, but the fact the Slave Disciple know about this Di's Jade is a wondrous matter because he was still trying to decipher why is this quality of the jade is called Di's Jade? And what is the Low-Earth Quality Jade?
"Dear Master Senior. This junior name is Yue Juan, my family background is professional Jade seller and engraver, thus I know many kinds of jades," he explains his identity first, in case Zhang Wu Ji are not reprimanding him but rewarding him? This was his bet before he continues.
"From my father's record, there was a total of four type of Jade in this world that is known to be the top grade amongst all the jade in this Ping An Continent. The first one is the Di's Jade, which carries the mark of a creamy green color, and when one look at the jade before a fire, the jade will become semi-translucent like the creamy part of fat of an animal is melted and become a layer of oil. This Jade is graded as the 75% Quality."
"The next one will be the Tian's Jade. This jade carries green and blue hue inside, and will also turn transparent when the jade made contact with body warmth. Only those jade in their 85% Quality is worth to be called as a Tian's Jade. For the next one, is the Kun's Jade. The Kun's Jade is mined from highly condensed quality jade mines and carries 95% quality before they were processed. There was less than a hundred item was made by the Kun's Jade. All I know from the record is that the jade carries a purplish color in their body, and the color will remain beautiful even from human contact."
"As for the last one, my father says that's called Qian's Jade. Its the highest quality among the jade with 105% Quality and this kind of jade is sturdy enough to be mold into life protecting treasure. In this whole Ping An Continent, only five pieces of the Qian's Jade existed. And each of them was in the hand of the Emperor from North, South, East, and West." This is all I know, Master Senior. The youth called Yue Juan explained everything he knows to Zhang Wu Ji.
It will take some time for him to decipher, but for now, the last thing he needs is disturbance from the outside, so he sent Yue Juan away by giving him a gift of 5 Qi Sensing Pills. The Slave Disciple also understand such fact and quickly went out after he obtained his rewards.
"So, altogether, I have ten Jadeite Blocks and ten Nephrite Blocks. Their quality was the same, but only differs in their color." Zhang Wu Ji took three of them in his hand, and toss them into a Crucible made from combined Iron Steel that can handle the heat above the maximum temperature of the Flame Rock can provide.
His process to craft the jade is extremely simple. By melting the Jadeite and Nephrite in their own crucibles, Zhang Wu Ji prepared another long squarish cast for him to allow the molten Jade mixture to be poured into the cast, creating a proper frame for him to be chiseled later.
For Zhang Wu Ji, his weapon is not a requirement to be sharp, but its requirement is always the same, a ten millimeters in thickness and thirty millimeters in width, and two meters long ruler is a must for him. This is the equal proportion for a person that always following the measurements like Zhang Wu Ji.
If his action were to be seen by a person from the beginning until now, they will comment that his method is filled by pointless steps, because first, he grounded the Jade material into powdered form before everything starts. At the second steps, he melts the jade in the mixture of ore material powder until they formed into rough pieces, and melted once more to form a bigger jade block.
At their third steps, Zhang Wu Ji personally works with the jade, and reform each of them into their own kind of Jade material, before they were formed into the Di's Jade that the Slave Disciple Yue Juan was so obsessed with. The fact of the Jadeite Di's Jade and Nephrite Di's Jade is separated and upgraded to their top condition is already a known matter, but how can he now, so daringly and foolishly melted the two Di's Jade resources only for the sake to mix them together in a cast?
Foolish!
This was the most foolish action a Blacksmith can ever do in their career!
But can the word normal be applied to a person with Zhang Wu Ji's ability? Perhaps, when the Block of Rectangular Jade is formed and sculpted into a shape of a Jade Ruler will the others agree that his technique was the one and the only correct way to do so!
Confident with his ability to complete this piece of artwork, Zhang Wu Ji calmly waits for the piece of Rectangular Jade to solidify. The best moment for him to carve the Jade Ruler would be the time when it was still halfway to its cooling process. This is also the best time to carve the jade as it was in the best carving condition.
He took the chisel, file, and the small wooden happen and upgraded them before he begins. The process proceeds slowly, with a very detail and careful strokes each time, until it was finally taking a shape of a Jade Ruler. The Jade Ruler took an oval but hexagonal curve shape of a ruler, where both of its edges will not touch the ground if it was placed flat on the ground.
In the middle part of the Jade Ruler, Zhang Wu Ji carved a beautiful motion of a flying Dragon and Phoenix. The carving seems almost alive, with the beautiful color of the jade envelops the dragon and the Phoenix, especially on the part of their eyes. In the middle of the two mythical beasts, is a hole that allows the Grain of Water Sapphire to embed inside perfectly.
The moment the Grain of Water Sapphire entered the holder spot made especially for the ruler, it flashed once before the middle part of the intense Green turned into bluish, which carries the personality of the infamous Coral Jade. With the last step is finally completed, Zhang Wu Ji allows the Jade Ruler to cool down until it reaches a completely solid state.
His final product was a beautifully intertwined Jade of a beautiful spiraling of Green Jadeite with the Violet Nephrite from one end to another, with the dragon and phoenix at each side, both baring their mouth at the Water Sapphire in the middle. The completed product shines brilliantly before it's master, as he moves his hand towards the Jade Ruler and grabbed it into his grasp.
"You're extremely beautiful, do you know it?" Zhang Wu Ji smiled at the Jade Ruler in his hand. Like it was customized to fit nicely in his hand, Zhang Wu Ji holds the Jade Ruler with comfort as he swings the Jade Ruler to test it. It was an important inspection because unlike the Iron Ruler of close to 20kg of weight, the Jade Ruler required to have a balanced proportion amount of Jade in both edges, tips, and also the center.
In his hand, this ruler still carries quite a weight, but luckily it was made of full molten jade, thus the durability of this weapon cannot be questioned. In the test of strength and durability, perhaps this combination of two type of jades is much stronger than the Iron Ruler by multiple times.
After finishing his initial examination on the quality of his new Jade Ruler, Zhang Wu Ji feel it was the correct time for him to inspect the description given by his [Upgrade] System, but before he was able to do so, Tang Yuan came into the room in a hurry, with both of his hands is holding a White Radish as thick as Zhao Xiao Hua's thigh.
(This means her thigh may seem thick, but it was a good impression because nothing is better than thigh! All hail thigh!)
"What is wrong with you?" Zhang Wu Ji is puzzled by the sudden entrance of his subordinate, Tang Yuan. Plus he came in with two White Radishes in his hand, so the answer should be only one thing.
"Master Senior, the vegetables especially planted for you is delivered from the Tian Village! Look at this White Radish! We even have White Cabbage, White Onions and even Dragon Eyes Fruit!" Tang Yuan pulled him out for this puzzled Master Senior to look at them.
It was like a display of crowned vegetables all over his courtyard garden, with over ten different type of vegetables and some fruits are waiting for him to eat them. The Village Chief and also the lady the villager trying to match him and her together was also in his courtyard.
What surprised the two is that even as a Master Senior, Zhang Wu Ji's appearance is extremely humble, especially when the three disciples made their appearance into the courtyard like usual. The only differences this time is each of them came with a box in their hand.
Because the two visitors did not carry a hint of cultivation in their body, the three disciples treated them as those normal servants that were here to complete some task. They overtook the two villagers and show up before Zhang Wu Ji, and opened the boxes in their hand to presents a total of fifteen high-quality Iron Thrusting Dirks for him to inspect.
"Ah..." Zhang Wu Ji understands the anxiousness in his disciple's mind, but it was still an inappropriate behavior to overtook other's chances to speak before their turn. But looking at the age of this three disciples, he took this mouthful of anger into him and inspects the Iron Thrusting Dagger they presented.
"Not bad, not bad!" Zhang Wu Ji was impressed by the quality of dagger they created after making some studies on the Iron Thrusting Dirk he passes to each of them not too long ago. It seems that the talents from this three can still be polished because they did not age along with their ages.
Still, it was appropriate for him to compensate the two villagers, especially the lady for such a treatment she received from the three Jing, Yin, Tong disciples. He lifted two of the Iron Thrusting Dirk and hand them to the Village Chief, and also the lady as a goodwill.
He also then compensate them with a total of 100 Qi Sensing Pills, because of the effort to present him with their first batch of harvest is a sign of an utmost respect towards him. If he was such an unexpected petty person that will think ill of the villager's gesture, he will become unworthy to enjoy the first sweetest harvest that came from the Tian Village.
"Master Senior, this is too precious for the two of us to take..." the Village Chief that has plenty of experience in this hesitates to accept such a treasure for a mere harvest of vegetables and fruits. Even if he dares to take the dagger back, the other villagers might kill him for his bravery to accept the gift.
But Zhang Wu Ji did not bother with his words. Instead, he paid his attention to the young lady in her fifteenth as well and asked her a very simple question.
"Since working in the fields may not be suitable for a lady like you, why don't you stay here to serve me instead?" Zhang Wu Ji offered the lady with a job that can easily secure the financial situation for her family.
The problem is... The word "Serve me instead" is taken by the lady as the gesture that he wanted to ******* with her, in return, he will take her in. Of course, being a young lady that was given such a chance, how can she reject? Without further consideration, she accepted, with a wrong set of thinking.
If Guan Qing Han was here, Zhang Wu Ji's head is going to be turned for a complete 360 degrees in both ways without difficulties.
