"So merciful are you then, young master?" I managed to tease, my voice emerging thready and wrecked despite my best bravado. "Denying a girl the chance to explore all those big bad cravings you've clearly been hoarding?"

Wu Haoyu's jaw visibly ticked, his gaze flashing with something primal and undisguised. "I think you underestimate the magnitude of those particular...appetites, vixen," he gritted out after a loaded pause. 

Before I could formulate a sassily provocative rebuttal, his mouth slanted over mine once more in a shockingly filthy collision of searing heat and velvet friction. My whimpering moan of capitulation was swallowed by the untamed plunder of his questing tongue, which laid scorching claim to every lush interior crevice.
