I didn't turn, not when I knew Storm will growl if I did that. There was no one else in the dining aside from the round table with assorted foods arranged.
Without saying a word, Storm sat on the chair next to the one on the head, and I sat next to him while May sat next to me, smiling from ear to ear.
Storm growled low under his throat, with his focus on the table rather than on me, but I can tell he was watching me. This way, he will have something to say when we return to our room.
"So, have you tasted our signature steak?" May asked, sounding rather excited. "It takes a bit like the one you eat back in your home." He winked, letting me know that he was talking about Earth.
"No, I haven't." I shrugged, "I've not been fed properly since I was brought to the place."
I know I'm only heaping coals on fire by speaking of this, but it's fun to always poke fun at him.
