THE SUMMIT SQUARE
It was one of the largest shopping malls in South Korea.
But it was arguably the most famous among Hunters.
After all, only the Summit Square Department Store had the luxury stores owned by Hong Saebi, Park Kiyoung, and Nam Eunho— aka the Pillars.
Hence, the Summit Square was also known as the 'Pillar Store.'
However, the stores dedicated to Hunters weren't Gyubin and Wooju's destination.
Right now, they were on the 8th floor— a floor of luxury stores dedicated to Civilians.
To be precise, they were at the Helga Bridal.
But…
"Wooju-ssi, did you reserve the entire store?" Gyubin whispered to Wooju. "No one else is here."
"I reserved all the five floors that house the luxury stores we need for our wedding clothes shopping today," Wooju said bluntly. "All the staff you see signed an NDA, so we can shop in peace."
She covered her mouth with her hands. "OMG. I feel like a main character in a drama, Wooju-ssi."
"I'm glad," her husband said, pushing the door open. "Now let's buy your wedding dress."
She actually felt nervous when they finally entered the fancy boutique.
Seven sales associate bowed their head towards them and greeted them politely.
Then, the pretty and neat store manager named Miss Cha who looked like in her mid-thirties, introduced herself kindly.
Gyubin was relieved that the store manager looked kind, unlike the rude sales associates that she had met in the past.
But maybe I'm being treated well because I'm with Wooju-ssi?
"I was informed by Guildmaster Han Wooju-nim that Miss Baek already has a wedding dress in mind," Miss Cha said politely while smiling at Gyubin. "May I see the dress, Miss Baek?"
"Oh, sure," Gyubin said politely, and then she pulled out her phone. Luckily, she didn't erase the picture of her dream wedding gown. "Here, ma'am."
Miss Cha took a glance at the picture, and then she nodded. "We still have that dress in this store, Miss Baek. We call her 'Vivian Dress.'"
Gyubin gasped and put her hands over her chest. "I already love her."
"You'll love her more once you're wearing the dress, Miss Baek," Miss Cha said, and it looked like the older woman was just as excited as her. "Would you like to try it on now?"
Gyubin turned to Wooju with sparkling eyes.
"Go ahead," Wooju said while nodding. "I'll re-install the game and try to recover my account while waiting for you."
***
GASP.
Gyubin couldn't help but gasp while looking at herself in the mirror.
She was standing on a round platform while wearing her dream wedding dress.
It was an Alyne satin dress featuring a sweetheart and off-shoulder neckline, which fell into a luxurious ball gown silhouette.
Simple but elegant.
It was a classic wedding dress that would never go out of style.
"I love it," Gyubin said while twirling around. "And I love that I can move freely in it."
"It seems like this dress is really made for you, Miss Baek," Miss Cha said kindly. "It's rare for a bride to try on the dress and know that it's the one right away."
Right?
Maybe Gyubin was really meant to marry Wooju in her short life.
***
SOLAVILLE.
It was a social game set in an imaginary town where players could play and connect with friends all over the world.
There were mini-games within the games like fishing, treasure hunting, and mining.
But the most famous feature of the game was the feature that allowed players to marry each other.
It was a healing game that Wooju played during the time he had a burn-out phase.
And here he was now— sitting on the sofa and downloading Solaville on his phone while waiting for Gyubin who was trying on her dream wedding dress.
Ah, I retrieved it.
<Welcome back, Player dragonwoo!>
Yes, his in-game name was lame.
Ah.
I forgot to ask Gyubin her in-game name.
But maybe he should divorce his virtual wife first.
And when he clicked the <Marriage Status> button…
<We're so sorry to inform Player dragonwoo that your virtual wife, Player strawbyuri, has filed for a divorce!>
And then he was given two choices.
<Accept> or <Reject>.
Wooju was about to press the <Accept> button, but he stopped when he saw the date when Player strawbyuri served him the papers.
Isn't it the same date when Gyubin said she's divorcing her virtual husband?
Was it just a coincidence or what?
"Guildmaster Han, Miss Baek is ready."
Wooju raised his head when the store manager called his attention…
… and then he froze on the spot, his eyes glued to only one person.
Hmm?
The staff members opened the curtains, revealing his future bride.
Wooju had always known Gyubin was pretty, but how come she looked more beautiful in his eyes now?
Is it just me or everything is going slowmo?
