"How difficult is it to search for a person? ..."
Standing atop a building, Mikoto sighed. The entire morning had been spent trying to locate Yami, but she was unable to do so. Even after hacking into the student database and discovering the school Yami attended, she seemed to be absent. Undeterred, Mikoto searched for her at home, but unfortunately, no one answered the door.
Mikoto searched everywhere but found no trace, as if Yami had disappeared without a trace.
Disappointed, Mikoto didn't give up and decided to try again later at Yami's home. After all, Yami had to return sooner or later.
[Party rock is in the house tonight (put your hands up)
Everybody just have a good time (put your hands up)
And we gon' make you lose your mind (put your hands up)
Everybody just have a good, good, good time]
A song played, and immediately, people searched for the source. Some already knew the origin, and their eyes lit up as the Joker had appeared.
"Hm?"
Mikoto also heard the song, and there were electric waves emanating from a specific direction in the city...
Curious, Mikoto took a look. People were being drawn, dancing to the music. Mikoto blinked at this surreal sight.
Initially, she thought it was the ability of a high-level esper, controlling people. This esper seemed to possess a skill somewhat similar to that annoying starry-eyed woman.
Considering the pros and cons, Mikoto decided to investigate. However, she quickly regretted her decision. Once her foot touched the shadow, her body stopped obeying her, and a hat appeared on her head out of nowhere.
"What is this?!"
Mikoto blushed in embarrassment. However, her body began to move against her will, dancing along with others.
This was impossible. Mikoto was a Level 5 Esper; being controlled by another esper was beyond her expectations. Her abilities didn't work, leaving her defenseless. Horror and embarrassment overwhelmed her.
Fortunately, when Mikoto's embarrassment reached its peak, the music stopped, and a smoke cloud appeared. Several playing cards were thrown into the air.
Mikoto took one of the cards, electricity flickering around her. Her face still red, she was ready to find the person responsible for this and teach them a lesson.
There was a clown on that card... THE JOKER.
-----------------
"Haaa.... Haa.. I won't forgive him.... No... I won't..."
Taking deep breaths to calm herself, Kuroko gritted her teeth in hatred. Once again, that clown got away. Before the music even finished, the Joker had already escaped, leaving the monkeys that disappeared in a smoke cloud seconds later, along with the mini stage.
Today's humiliation wasn't as bad as the last time she was hanging from a traffic light, but it was still despicable. Forcing her to do those ridiculous poses and imitate a monkey.
"Hehehe~"
Saten, on the other hand, was playing with the cane and smiling. That dance was quite fun, and she wouldn't mind dancing again.
The Joker was just as rumored, someone who does what he wants and appears when he wants. His music can enchant people and share a dance with everyone. Moreover, his hat skills were unique. Even now, Saten tried to peek into the Joker's trick by searching and turning the hat on her head, hoping to see through the Joker's act.
Unfortunately, no matter how much she tried to reach inside, she couldn't pull anything out of the hat.
"Hehehe, it's much better than the rumors."
Thinking back to that sweet moment in the alley, the kiss on her forehead, and this dance, Saten knew for sure that the Joker was an interesting and fun person, as well as someone with free will.
Who is he? What does he hide under that mask? Everything was a mystery and also a perfect job for Saten.
Seeing Saten's smile, Kuroko, as her friend, knew that this girl had already taken an interest in that circus clown. She warned her sternly.
"Saten-san, this guy is a criminal, a scourge of society. It's better not to get involved with him."
"Hehehe, it's okay, don't worry, Shirai-san."
Although she said it with her mouth, Saten wouldn't obey Kuroko. She was determined to find the Joker again and, if possible, reveal the face beneath that mask.

"Haaa~"
Taking a deep breath, Yuki removed the clown mask. His Sharingan deactivated; he had spent quite a bit of chakra on that dance, but his training was paying off.
Since witnessing how the Demon King applied the power of the Dimension Dojutsu to the entire city, Yuki had been trying to mimic it. However, doing so was more challenging than he thought.
Negating all supernatural abilities in an area required a lot of chakra and spiritual power. Yuki could only apply it in an area of 200 meters around him, and he was already exhausted. This became even more difficult when dealing with the powers of the most powerful espers, such as Level 5 espers.
Even now, he used the Shadow Possession jutsu from the Nara Clan, the Puppet jutsu of the Sand, and the Dimension Dojutsu simultaneously. It was terribly exhausting. If it weren't for his large energy reserves, his chakra wouldn't have been enough to finish the entire song.
That the Demon King used it to negate everyone in the city for quite some time demonstrated the terrifying nature of his power.
Nevertheless, he achieved his goal. While Yuki used his little act as a distraction, attracting not only Judgment but also part of Anti-skill.
Yami was able to easily infiltrate and destroy the Tree Diagram's base of operations. At the same time, her clone went into space and destroyed the satellite.
Having that supercomputer over her head all this time was too bothersome, and with Mikoto about to regain her memories, there was no need to keep it in orbit.
"Well, the next step is to visit our client...."
[Yes]

"15 minor traffic accidents, 120 cleaning and security robots destroyed, disruption of public zone order, and control of more than 250 people—these were some of the consequences caused by that circus clown."
A few hours later, in a nearby café, Kuroko began to describe and complain about that clown while enjoying a milkshake.
It was quite stressful, and several veins were still bulging on her forehead.
"Maaa~ it's not so bad; it was quite fun."
"Don't defend him, Saten-san! This is not funny!"
Uiharu smiled rigidly as she watched her two friends argue; they had opposite opinions about this strange clown.
Kuroko hated him to the core, while Saten was curious and hoped to see him again.
"However, Saten-san, Shirai-san is right. Every time Joker-san appears, things get complicated, and even Anti-skill has a hard time dealing with him."
"Of course! That circus clown deserves to be buried!"
The group entered into another discussion until they were silenced by electricity fluctuating around Mikoto.
"Onee-sama?"
"Kuroko, you've had several encounters with that guy. How come you haven't caught him yet?"
Although Mikoto hadn't been seen dancing by any of her friends, it was still terribly embarrassing, and this required a little lesson on her part.
However, the fact that Kuroko, a Teleporter, couldn't catch the Joker meant that this guy had some extraordinary abilities.
"It's all due to that circus clown's ability..."
Sighing, Kuroko began to explain.
"We're not certain yet, but that circus clown is at least a level 4. As for his ability, we're not sure, but it has to do with space..."
"Space? Is he a Teleporter?"
"I wouldn't be so sure, but my hypothesis shows that it's highly likely. He can block my darts, accurately predict my location when I teleport, and he can pull quite a few things out of his hat..."
Recalling each of the clown's moves, Kuroko's furrowed brow became even more pronounced. What that clown casually did was astonishing.
