章 7: Unexpected Comfort

I woke up sweating, my heart pounding in a death grip, but surprisingly, I felt absolutely fine. I was still being hugged, and the closeness to someone was oddly comforting. As I became more aware of my surroundings, I realized I had rolled over in my sleep and was clinging to the mystery intruder's shirt. Slowly, I released the fistfuls of fabric and looked up, curiosity and fear mixing in my chest. My eyes traveled up to meet the face of the person who had been breaking into my room at night. Was it weird that I felt like I naturally fit here? Was it weird that I wanted to stay like this even though I'm pretty sure i knew who it was just by smell?
