A Helping Hand
Let me walk upon the waters
The same as Jesus did
To heal as he healed
To extend a needed meal
Being rich is not the reason
But having money wouldn't be treason
I would use it to clothe the naked
To liberate the captive and not stake it
Money is not needed to wrought miracles
The only ones enslaved are the fools
It is said that the root of all evil is money
I believe it's greed, it's not sweet like honey
Put it to good use and the Lord will bless you
Not the kind that you need a tissue
Pride and greed work hand in hand
Envoy is just as bad my friend
I'm not rich but I don't need much
Just need the basics and to bless and such
That's what we need to do is live within our means
And help those in need, not necessarily wants, but needs
Wants are not a sin
Just reach out a helping hand
And help those that have fallen
And help them to stand.
