章 138: Chapter 137 - Wings

Searching for Cute, Kaito finds himself on the edge of a cliff, with a good view of the abyss around Crimson Castle and all the other floating islands, including the island of the Fields of Exile. The wind whispers in his ears, carrying with it the tension of the immensity of this place. 

Then he turns forward and thinks aloud:

"Cute is close, I'm sure she is. There's nowhere else she could have gone."

Then his sharp eyes scan the red horizon once more, looking for anything that stands out. 

As always, the moon is standing in exactly the same place in the sky, illuminating the area with all its brilliance. Everything is neither too bright nor too dark outside the Crimson Castle.
