"Why did you think that I like margaritas? I never drink lady's drinks. Never, mistake me for a lady Denver," Leira slurred with her squinty eyes and poked her finger on Denver's nose. 

Denver shook his head and smirked. "Why? Who do you think you are? A gentleman?" 

Liera unwittingly spouted out her drink. She didn't realize that she blurted out something that might possibly give Denver a different meaning. However, she also remembered that she also needed to let Denver know about her true self, and that was what she was supposed to do.
