章 24: A Gift from the gods
"The war is over" Zeus said
The humans began to weep and hug each other. Some of them fainted with smiles on their faces while some leapt in joy
"Man, why are humans such weaklings?" Ares said, "Can we return now?"
"No" Poseidon, Hades and Athena walked up to the trio "We still have one unfinished job"
"Yeah, that of Him" Gaia said before clearing her throat "Ahem, Chosen one! Where are you?! We need to see you!!"
"You naïve idiot" Ares face-palmed "You are not supposed to yell like that. You'll just make him go away
"I did not" Gaia stared ahead "Someone's walking towards us"
"Which idiot would dare… It's a demi-human" Ares jaw dropped to the ground "The Chosen one's a demi-friggin'-human"
"Calm down. I'm Aella" Aella walked up to the six gods, immediately igniting a commotion among the humans
"Who's that?"
"Didn't you hear goddess Gaia yell 'Chosen one'?"
"How could she be who they were trying to call? Besides what is a chosen one?"
"Hell if I know. I don't think she's the one though, she's just seeking for their attention. By the way, I heard god Ares say 'demi-human'. What's that?"
"That's a half beast, half human"
"But we didn't see an anomaly on her body. She's wearing a hooded cape"
"They're called gods for a reason, idiot"
"Whatever"

"What business do you have with the Chosen one?" Aella asked
"It does not concern you" Ares said "Where's he?"
"I will not tell you where he is until you answer my question. If not, get lost" Aella frowned
"You…"
"Ares calm down" Zeus said "We have a message from the Fates"
"Hmmm, okay. Follow me" Aella walked away with the gods, leaving the worn-out humans with fallen jaws
"Man, she must be pretty strong to confront the Olympians like that. Who's she?"
"What's so special about the Olympians? Are they not just normal gods like so many others?"
"Olympians are gods that have been recognized by the Universe as its protectors. They live on Mount Olympus, hence the name Olympians"
"Cool, I'll be there one day
"Dream on brother"

[Orpheus, six potent Olympians are coming towards you. I want you to act calm]
~Why the hell would Olympians want to see me?~
[Don't know. Mentioned something about the Moirai]
"Orpheus," Aella called out "These guys want to see you"
"We're not just any 'guys' you dimwit" Ares growled
"Hey, compose yourself, dimwit" Tana growled back at him
"I'm going to eat you alive you…"
"Ares! Be calm" Zeus commanded
"Umm, are the Olympians this childish?" Orpheus thought aloud "Oops. That slipped out"
"Okay, I'll kill him myself" Hades frowned
"Calm down" Gaia said "He's still young and ignorant of the world"
"Whatever, why do y'all want to see me?" Orpheus yawned
[Compose yourself!]
"That cocky brat" Ares cursed
"Hmm, how do I put this?" Gaia creased her forehead "The Moirai asked us to give you something but did not specify. So, you name it"
"What you're trying to say is that, I should ask you for anything and you'll give it to me?" Orpheus asked with raised brows
"As long as it is within our power" Athena nodded
"Are you sure about this?" Orpheus asked again
"Just ask away, you brat" Ares said in frustration
"You know Aster" Orpheus stared at the gold-haired person behind him "This guy reminds me of you in many ways"
"Don't compare me to some demi-human" Ares aura spiked
"C'mon Ares, calm down" Athena said
[Orpheus, ask for gems]
~Hell man, I can get those on my own~
[Not those types. The one from the concentrated Chaos and Order energies]
~How are they going to get those?~
[Just do it you dumb goat]
~Right back atchya~
"Okay" Orpheus rubbed his jaw "Give me gems from the energy of the Chaos and Order residues in the atmosphere"
"How did you know there are residual energies from both Chaos and Order?" Gaia asked surprised
"Don't know. Just guessed"
"Is that all you want?" Gaia asked
"Yeah, I guess"
"Okay" Gaia stretched out her two hands "I suggest you step back a little bit"
She opened her palms and closed her eyes. The air above her palms began to condense as black mist formed above one and white mist above the other. The black and white mist began to condense into solid matter until two gems rested on her palms
"Why did you not do this from the beginning?" Hades asked
"She was separating not condensing" Poseidon said "You have to be wise sometimes you know"
"Woah" Andrian gasped "He can talk"
"Here," Gaia said "If you want any other thing, let us know now. I fell like this is a little too small of a gift for you"
"Hmm, I got one" Orpheus' eyes lit up "Ares can create weapons right?"
"Of course I can" Ares said proudly "They don't call me the 'god of war' for nothing"
"He became so cocky all of a sudden," Hades muttered
"Cool, how about forging dual weapons for a swordsman with these two gems as their cores. Also, the weapons should have the ability to morph into any weapon I visualize"
"He has a pretty wild imagination" Tana muttered
"So you basically want me to incorporate all weapons in existence into dual weapons with these two gems as their core" Ares raised his eyebrows "Leave it to me"
"It's normal with this guy" Zeus chuckled "He goes nuts at the mention of weapons"
Ares snatched the two gems out of Orpheus' hands and went to a corner to begin his creation. A few minutes later, he returned with white and black daggers in his hands and handed them over to Orpheus
"Don't worry about the binding" Ares said "I placed a seal on it that it can only be used by you"
"Cool" Orpheus stared at the daggers with stars in his eyes
"By the way" Ares stared at the chained blades on the ground behind Orpheus "Who forged those blades?"
"My classmate" Orpheus answered without pulling his gaze away from the daggers "Her name's Sara"
"She's a good one. I'll love to take her in" Ares said, leaving the other gods speechless
"Ares wants to take in a human" Hades gasped
"Man, this is a miracle of a lifetime" Gaia said
"Damn y'all" Ares cursed "What's wrong with me taking a human apprentice?"
"We have to go now" Zeus summoned a lightning bolt and immediately disappeared
"Hey human, remember to inform your classmate of my decision" Ares said
"Shut up and move" Poseidon pushed Ares out of the way before disappearing into water particles
"See ya" Hades winked and opened a gate to the underworld before jumping into it
"So we have to walk" Athena and Gaia cursed before walking away but not before changing thei appearances
"Wait for me!" Ares yelled "Damn Olympians" Ares summoned a chariot and rode into the sky
"The Olympians are pretty interesting" Andrian said
"Don't even think about it. I don't plan on joining them" Orpheus put away his weapons. "It's a bondage if you ask me
Whatever, let's return to the academy" They all began to walk back to the academy
