She entered the bathroom and switched on the hot water shower. She removed her bathrobe and examined herself in the mirror.
"ARRrrrrgggggggggghhhhhh!!!!!"
Elsa screamed at the sight of all the love bites on her pale skin. Everything that happened last night had left a realistic imprint on her body.
She dragged herself to the hot shower and cleaned herself from head to toe. She cursed the beast responsible for her current suffering, as well as the drink that caused the worst hangover.
After wiping herself dry, she went to the study desk to grab some Panadol to relieve her headache. She discovered a business card with the remark "Call me!" written on it. She also found a silver-blue tie on the floor.
Elsa bent to pick it up and folded it with the business card before shoving it under her study desk.
She opened her food box and pulled out a noodle cup. While waiting for the hot water to boil for her noodles and tea, Elsa opened her laptop.
Elsa walked to the window to look out at the dreary sky before the first snowfall of spring. She grabbed her wrap coat to keep warm.
The boiling water brought her back to reality, and she rushed to pour it into the cup of noodles and tea.
While waiting for the noodles and tea to be ready, she charged her phone, which was off due to a low battery. Afterward, Elsa watched her favorite Korean drama.
She decided to take it easy due to her physical condition and what happened the night before. After finishing the noodles, she closed the curtain, making the room dark. Elsa continued to watch the drama while covering herself with a warm blanket.
The room phone rang just as she was about to fall asleep.
"Hello..." she said hoarsely, placing the phone to her ear.
"Hon, are you planning on coming out tonight?" Nini, her new best friend, was on the phone.
"I don't think I'll be joining. I'm still suffering from a severe hangover from last night. Who's going?" she inquired about their classmates.
"We'll be joined by my brother, Andre, Jack, Eric, and possibly Sa ra. There are some other students from the other campus," Nini said.
"Ah, Peter and Oswaldo are also going to Nikita's party. Jack has asked me to take you out," Nini added, sounding more than usual, implying she was already intoxicated.
"I'm staying in my room. I'll see you tomorrow," Elsa said to her best friend before ending the call.
Elsa hung up the phone and continued to drift away into one of her favorite dreams.
Jay was pacing around the presidential suite like a madman. He had never felt this way before while glancing at his phone. He had made sure to leave his business card with a message on it.
Ben entered the presidential suite with a folder, which he handed to his boss. Ben had pulled all his business ties and used his boss's reputation to expedite the marriage certificate. It was difficult to deal with a marriage between two different nationalities.
Jay was overjoyed to see the marriage certificate between him and the pretty girl from last night. There was also a picture of them with a red background.
"Have you apprehended the perpetrator from last night?" Jay asked his assistant.
"Yes. It was Mary Wells's helper. She was carrying out her boss's orders to seduce you and become Madame Shin. Apparently, you managed to flee before she arrived at the dinner table, or both of you could have been fooling around in the meeting room," Ben explained to his boss.
"How about we use her method and send Mr. Nigel to the meeting room?" Jay said, sipping his cognac neat.
"Do you mean the old pervert, Mr. Nigel?" Ben's goosebumps stood up. Mr. Nigel was an elderly fox who used all his money to con every woman into being his ex-wife. He had just completed his ninth divorce, and this time he only lost a small amount of money.
Jay nodded and gave his assistant a deadly expression, which made Ben understand his boss's goal. In the corporate realm, no one could compete with Jay Shin's intelligence.
