章 149: Preparations for werewolves

Our villa was buzzing with activity as maids were preparing guest bedrooms for thirty-something werewolves that were due to arrive tomorrow. Fynn and his gang.

Maria also called for additional help because other than setting up bedrooms on the first and second floor of the villa, we needed to tidy up unoccupied rooms in the house where the staff is staying, and we had crews cleaning and furnishing several houses in the town that were ready to accept tenants.

I gathered everyone to have lunch together. Duke was at the head of the table, cutting the meat on my plate and feeding me like it was just the two of us. I really loved how he could focus on me, no matter the circumstances.

Also present were Zoe, Luca, Ash, Treva, Zeiroi, Sergio, and Calista.

Luca was feeding Zoe, and I thought how it was adorable that he would lick even the tiniest mess on her lips. Ash pretended not to see them.
