David simply shook his head before saying, "If that means I have seniority I can order you around."

"Are you trying to be a a*se?"

"No.  Just stating reality my friend," came David's sarcastic reply.

Joseph shook his head, before adding "Are we going to play this game?"

"No idiot.  But you opened the door so I could not resist," came David's quick response before he started to laugh lightly.

"Can we be serious for a minute?"

David tilted his head before saying, "When do you not know me to be serious when we need to be."

"True.  How do we want to handle this?"

"Me, you idiot, is going to have to go and speak to the Senator, where I am going to recommend to him that he needs to get out of here as soon as possible.  My preference will be to get him to the secure space on the edge of the base before he is sent out of the city."

"You think that demanding man will agree to that?"
