章 744: Reassessment (7)

15 June, Matthew's Office and Special Forces Conference Room, Military Base, City K

Matthew looked up as the door to his office opened and Legend came in saying "Come with me."

"Are you here to…"

"Try and knock some sense into the four of you, as per the boss' orders, before you and I will talk until the boss and the blushing bride get here."

Matthew nodded.  Despite all his efforts to talk to Ben, Joseph, and David about the issues, he constantly kept hitting an insurmountable obstacle with them and the divisions were starting to show.  He understood their pain because of the memories it brought up.  Those events, for months after they happened caused him nightmares, but he knew he had done everything right at the time, he was not willing to blame another victim of Madam Mo for what happened.
