Lexi quietly closed the door of Dominic's bedroom, having seen him hard at work with his homework, happy with how she had adapted to the primary school on the military base.

That thought made Lexi pause and remember the fights that she and Matthew had for weeks after Dominic finished the last school year.  As she had reiterated to Matthew time and time again, one of the consistencies for Dominic in his life, was his school, and with his ongoing treatment needs maintaining consistency where possible, would be the best.
