Maverick's body shook as Simon and his daughter entered his residence with some guards. They spread out to search for Lucien without his permission.

"Lord Simon, to what do I own this unexpected Visit?" Maverick asked with a fake smile.

Simon chuckled and stared at his daughter "M'lady informed me that kingdom traitor is in here, I heard you employed them without knowing who they are?"

Maverick face lightened up in fear, did Gila believe that Simon buy her awful lies.

"The kingdom traitor? Am not aware of what you are saying. I did employ new people but I don't recognize all of them, and I doubt that the person you are looking for will still be here"

"Is that so?" Simon grinned and a guard came to him and whispered some things into his ears.

He turned back to maverick, smirking "It is just as you said, they aren't here. But that won't mean they are out of reach. Lady Gila, please do me the honour"
