Dan was on tenterhooks throughout the night. He contemplated Lia's idea of going to Sabrina and speak one on one with her. But he couldn't, he was afraid.

What more could she say, he had caught her red-handedly cheating on him. If he had truly meant something to her, she would have tried calling him, pleading for forgiveness. 

But then, she did nothing. It was enough to prove to him that this was a game to her. Sabrina was the second woman he had ever loved and to crown it all, she was a witch.

He knew the many sacrifices he had made on her behalf and the risk he had taken to protect her. Just like it was hard to find a werewolf and vampire couple, it was the same with witches too.

Vampires unlike other creatures were thoroughly disliked because of their feeding nature. Though mandurugas made the top of the hate list but those creatures were few hence vampires taking the top spot.
