章 6: Finding out the truth.
I look at the couple with a concentrated look. If they are this life-like then I'm going to need to choose my word's carefully. I take a look around the place and it seem's they are a humble couple who love there life. Painting's line the wall's of friend's and family.
I look at the man and ask him a question. "I was wondering if you could tell me were I am?" I say to the man. I can see slight confusion in his eye's, but it quickly disappear's.
"We are located slightly east of Loyts, in the Roble Holy kingdom. The city is governed by a baron." I cringe when I hear those word's. Seem's I know I'm not in Yggdrasil now. He has also gotten over the shock of seeing me, which is good. It will make this all easier.
"Can you please tell me the major city's and village's around here?" I ask him politely. I need to find out where to go to find information that might help find other's like me.
"Well, there is The Great Wall, Fortress city Kalinsha, Debone another fortress city." he recall's for me. He take's another breath and starts again. "Then there is Hoburns, the capital of the Roble Holy Kingdom, and the last one near here beside's Loyts is Rimun, a port city." This is a lot of important information.
"Is that all their is near here?" I ask the man. While this Roble Kingdom sound's large it doesn't seem it's all there is around here.
"There are many but the one's I would watch out for are The Slain Theocracy, Re-Estize Kingdom, and the Baharuth empire. They are constantly at war." The man tell's me. I should ask for his name, so I know who I am talking to.
"By the way, my name is... Amare Vita I'm a Seraphim. What is your guy's name's?" I ask both of them. Something stopped me from saying my earth name, like a rule for my survival. If I remember correctly, in Yggdrasil, the angel would disappear from the world if they gave a fake name, at least that was what the character description said in character creation. Seem's that applies here. Look's like the lore and rule's of Yggdrasil work's here, but this isn't Yggdrasil, so what is the connection?
"I'm Aaron Bluefoot and this is my wife Lilian." He point's to his wife. They both look human to me. He looks back at me with a much more friendly attitude. "Thank you for telling us your name, holy one. This is the first time, since I have ever heard, a sentient angel has come to our world." he say's in a respectful tone. It seem's angel's are rare and respected here. "May I be so rude as to ask what tier you are. I've never heard of the Seraphim angel's before. I am uneducated when it come's to religion I'm afraid." He say's to me. I can see that my race's existence is not common knowledge.
"I am 11th tier. The angel's that you were talking about are the sentinel force's that guard heaven." I tell him. The lore of Yggdrasil applies to this world, so that mean's I know what he know's, this is good. The angel's he described were lower tier's than me. I believe an angel gain's it's sentience at the 7th or 8th tier. They never really put info in the game about my specific race.
He begin's to visibly shake and after I look, I see his wife doing the same. I suppose that right now, I'm the strongest thing alive. The NPC's....no I can't call them that anymore, the people of this world seem much more mortally powered than Yggdrasil, their knowledge is lower and the shock from hearing my tier suggests I'm a very impossible occurrence. There won't be many as strong as me, if any at all.
"There is no need to be afraid of me. I don't hurt or kill humble people trying to live their live's in peace." I tell them with a reassuring voice. I can't blame them for being scared of me.
"I'm sorry Seraphim Amare Vita. I just never would have expected something like this in our live's." He say's to me. I see that he is becoming more comfortable with me and my presence. I need a place to stay tonight, maybe they will let me sleep here. Undead are lucky in that regard, they don't need to sleep, eat, or use the bathroom. They never get tired from anything. It come's with the race. My race is a living hetromorphic race. I need thing's like rest and food.
I can smell the fresh food coming from the kitchen. I haven't eaten since I got here, so my sense of smell is getting the better of me. It is an understatement that I am hungry. "If it's alright with you two can I stay the night here. I currently don't have a place to sleep." I ask hoping that they accept.
"Of course you can, we would never turn down someone such as yourself." He say's answering my request. I hope they don't mind me eating with them tonight.
"I thank the both of you, not everyone would shelter someone just after meeting them, despite being an angel or not." I say expressing my gratitude. I am not as tired as last time after flying. Seem's I'm getting used to my new body for the time being. The stress of yesterday put a large burden on my body. It is almost entirely gone now.
"I hope you don't mind venison stew. It's all we have at the moment." Lilian say's to me. I think the idea of venison stew is wonderful. At this point in time I have no food because you didn't need it in Yggdrasil, here I do.
I take my helmet off and when I release it, it disappear's in silver light. "I don't mind at all, I am quite hungry." I tell the lady who will be feeding me. I gotta say I was very fortunate to find these two. I have a feeling not everyone will be as welcoming as them.
~~~(POV Lenny the Wretch)~~~
My boy's and I have been plundering and pillaging for a couple month's now. I've learned a lot about fighting. When I fought that bastard Aaron I was still an untrained runt. Now I'm the best fighter in our group, I even became the new leader. Tonight we make the trek to his land and in the morning I'll take revenge for the humiliation he caused me last time.
I know for a fact I can beat him now. I even learned a couple of 1st tier fire spells to help with this occasion. Even the best fighter's have a hard time against magic. This is something that Aaron doesn't cast himself. Those magic item's he has will be a problem though.
I look to my group of Marauder's. "Tomorrow we head to that bastard Aaron's place. We will get what we are owed and more. One way or another." I tell the group of 20. A lot of them are fighter's and with a couple magician's mixed in, this time we will get what we want.
"I don't know about this Lenny, I have a terrible feeling about this trip." August say's to me. He is the most talented magic caster here. His highest spell is a 3rd tier earth spell. He can only cast it once though. August also has the unique ability to feel when danger is in our future. I would be worried, but 20 to 1 aren't good odds for Aaron. Last time there were only 7 of us. This time it's overwhelming in our favor.
"Don't worry so much August, we got this. There ain't no way that son of a bitch will beat us this time. We are probably the strongest bandit group around here. So have faith in me." I say to August.

I have had bad feeling's in the past, but this feel's like we will be walking up to death and spitting on his bony toe's. I can't change Lenny's mind, and my feeling is never wrong, it's how we got this far. I guess all the power and money went to his head. If it come's to it I will run away. I might be good at magic, but I don't want to die.
