章 104: Hell

Pain racks my entire body, making me groan as I slowly open my eyes. Bright, white lights burn my eyes instantly making me regret it. I shut my eyes tight as I try to turn over to my side. The cold, hard floor under me was smooth to the touch.

My whole body screams in pain as I struggle to move. When I open my eyes again, I strain to look around. My vision swims as I blink several times to see clearer. When that doesn't work, I frown and exhale.

I lower my head, placing my forehead against the cold tile as I try to understand what's going on. Thane! I jerk my head up as I try to quickly stand! My legs refuse to support me, causing me to stumble and fall down with a hiss of pain. I grit my teeth as I raise my hands to my head.

What the hell was going on? I blink several times and look around the room with confusion. It was a glass box... with a small bed. Just a mattress, pillow, and blanket. What the... My head continues to swim, making my stomach queasy.
