The wall covered in ice suddenly begins to ripple like water before the woman appears. She stands in all her glory as she says "It was all necessary, child. Even I didn't see the course in which things were taken."

I sniff and do my best to glare but I'm pretty sure it was the least aggressive glare in history. Thane tightens his arms around me as the woman says "You altered the course by killing Silas but he took an unforeseen path. It causes multiple branches and... opportunities."

I sniff again and frown at her, still not understanding anything. She then points to us and says "Because of his love for you, he accepted my offer. My offer not only gives him the strength to deal with Silas and others like him, it also gives him the ability to remain by your side."

Hello My Lovely Readers, I'm so sorry I've been MIA lately. It's not like I want to admit this or even go into detail but the reason I haven't been able to write is that I'm currently HOMELESS. T^T No, I'm not joking, I wish I was... Living in a homeless shelter has been... traumatizing --_-- As most of you know, my home was ruined with the last hurricane that came through and we didn't have the money for the repairs. I have two kids and you can't live in a home that leaks water every time it rains. It's dangerous and unfortunately, the weather makes it even worse especially here lately. Some good news though, I found an apartment! I had to pick up another job and things have been crazy but hopefully, we'll be moving in soon! (Begs and cries that everything will work out) If and when we do, I will start writing once again. Thank you so so so very much for being kind and patient AND for even the concerned messages you've all left. Thank you and I will be back, I promise. XOXO
