In a world of white-haired dragon riders and black-haired witches, Princess Vinnandra Albridge is born red-haired as the forbidden spawn of a witch-spy and a dragon rider known as the Hateful. Unwanted by her family and shunned by society, Vinn tries to get by everyday unnoticed and alive.
However, her simple plans come crashing down when her family disavows her by removing her from her royal bloodline, proclaiming her a traitor to consequently serve as an official slave to the notorious Lenklock dragon riders family that rules in the North. There, it would seem that while Vinn might not be able to groom a dragon, she might make good food for one… not if she had anything to do about it.
Vowing to fight for her life and rise above others, Vinn must learn how to break through her blood and reach to whatever minute strength she possesses and become a dragon rider… or something.
And it would seem Vinnandra’s vows would be realised in the form of Xander Lenklock—a troubled man and problematic heir who charges into her life, proclaiming a nobody like her his greatest ally and seeking her alliance. For the first time in a long while, Vinn feels needed and wanted—two dangerous elements that ignites feelings she shouldn’t have, and evokes thoughts she shouldn’t think.
And in a partnership that might make or break them, Vinn was sure she would do anything to have Xanders’ body, heart and soul. Problem is, Xander has a fiancée who was there to stay… forever.
But with her mothers past looming over her, and with shadows of the enemy hidden in the trees playing their ultimate move, even if Vinnandra manages to steal Xander’s heart, will she be able to keep it? Or will her dubious identity destroy everything she has come to enjoy?
Will the powers she has come to possess swallow her? Or could she be the enemy that her people really fear?

Five Stars from Author here. Shameless review? I guess you'll have to read on to find out. After writing one hundred chapters plus of this book, it’s safe to say I’m confident I know enough to tell you why this book deserves my five star rating. The Red Queen of Nothing is a fantasy romance with a central female lead—Vinnandra (Vinn). From the synopsis, you can see that Vinnandra is well, your typical from grace to grass lead who starts off well and then falls off. What drives Vinnandra’s story into making it hers is the world here. In this fantasy world they’re two kinds of people—Dragon Riders and Witches and they’re both archenemies. From the synopsis you can see that Vinn is a forbidden offspring of these two bloods, and whatever could that mean for her? Will her unique blood take everything away from her? Or will it give her just about everything she needs? I almost forgot the part where I said this is a fantasy romance book; now to address the romance part, of course there is romance. However, with how long I anticipate this book will be, it is safe to say that our two leads—Vinnandra and Xander—don’t start off as some kind of in your face lovebirds, but they do start out as allies, and their love has enough time to develop and bloom. In fact, I believe what you might find fascinating is the intricacies of their relationship—from the politics of everything, to their opposite nature, can both of them be together? And if ever, just how much will it cost? I enjoin you to read on to find out. From the supposed Villians in this book (the witches), and about every other thing, if you enjoy a good fantasy romance with unique characters and decent world building, then here you go. PS: The Male Lead here is a green flag (I think?).
This is some good fantasy. No systems, no rpg stuff just good old fashion witchcraft and dragons - and DRAGON RIDERS. Just from the first few chapters there's enough lore to make the world feel fleshed out and the mc is relatable and has a lot of narrative drive. Aside from a few grammar and spelling mistakes the prose is very good and I'm sure the author will perfect it soon. Can't wait to see what happens next, you should read this.
The sypnosis is written so well!! Captivating, engaging and very interesting! The author's way of writing is very good too, I like that it's simple and easier to comprehend(esp. to those native tongue isn't english). This book has potential, in my opinion^^ Author has to keep the updates regularly for to gain more exposures! It'd be a waste if its get buried. Keeping it in my library too^^ Recommended!!💯

This book is too good so Author pls what did you eat growing up how can you imagine such story line plot mysteries and amazing characters i have never been so drawn to a story before like this just from the synopsis i love it and now just 8 chapters gone i am addicted i really wish this story have much views and be in the top Just few people cant be enjoying such good stuff it needs more audiences 💪💪
The novel has a great world design that is described clearly so the readers can imagine it easily. The story is engaging. I can't wait to read more. This novel got my collection and power stone, and it absolutely worth more than that!!!!!
Riveting! And as an apology for probably sounding pretentious, I'll tell you this story is amazing. I really hope it continues to keep on my toes. Its only nine chapters in, but so good. We need more material. Good job so far though author.

Gosh gosh gosh I must say, your story is absolutely captivating! From the very first page, I found myself completely engrossed in this incredible journey you have crafted. Each twist and turn have me eagerly turning the pages, unable to tear myself away. I am so invested in the lives of your characters and their struggles, and I cannot wait to discover how their stories unfold.
This actually got me hooked earlier than I expected it might! These series gave me strong "Fourth Wing" vibes(which I love) and the characters urge to prove her family wrong has set the floor for quite a good character arc. I'm excited to see if she gets into the military squad she wants!!(don't want to post spoiler if that is one haha). Dialogue is very organic also. Keep up the good work, author!!
Easy to read and hard to leave! I picked this up just because the synopsis looked promising, but then I got hooked! As you read on, it only gets better and better! The tension and curiosity will grab you from the beginning. The pace is comfortable, characters are interesting and the plot is intriguing! I need more chapters! Author, please release more chapters soon!
This novel is really good, especially in terms of emotions. If the words weren't written smoothly, it could have been a negative aspect, but this novel effortlessly conveys the main character's emotions to the reader. The writng flow is very perfect. The story isn't too fast or too slow; the pace is just right. I'm looking forward to more updates from the author
This book is great. The back story and the plot are quite interesting as it is taking us to a different world full of new plots. The writing style and the world-building are quite remarkable. Great book, keep it up!
I had to add a gif to show you just how much I'm enjoying and always look forward to this story. It is a breath of fresh air you don't commonly find in the fantasy romance genre. The pacing is impeccable, the mystery is there and at the same time, you find yourself consistently rooting for the FL in this crazy new world filled with Dragons, Witches and Dragons Riders. This is the kind of book that from the first sentence of the first chapter, it immerses you deeply into itself, never letting you, stealing your breath till you read the last chapter. You get transported into the world of Dragons and Vinnandra the Hateful. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good Romance Fantasy with a decent amount of magic and wit. But hey, if you don't wanna read it, I don't mind keep the book all to myself 😌.
