章 21: Magic Specialization selection!!

The following day, after Krishna's departure, the atmosphere at the Gurukul was subdued. The students, still processing the events of the previous evening, gathered in the main hall for the morning assembly. The room buzzed with hushed conversations, all wondering what the day had in store.

Guru Drona stood at the front of the hall, his presence commanding immediate silence. "Today," he began, "we will be dividing the students into two classes or sections. These sections will determine the groups you train with, and they will compete against each other in terms of weaponry, potions, and written exams."

Arjun and his friends exchanged anxious glances, their fingers metaphorically crossed, hoping to stay together. The room held its breath as Guru Drona began calling out names.

Arjun and all his friends were lucky enough to end up in the same section- section A.

A collective sigh of relief escaped the group. They had ended up in the same class, just as they had hoped. But the relief was short-lived as Guru Drona continued that section B will include several students along with Duryodhana, Dushasana, and their companions.

Guru Drona concluded his announcement with a final statement: "Tomorrow will be a significant day. You will each choose your magic specialization. This decision will shape your future here at the Gurukul and beyond. Prepare yourselves well, and with that, you are dismissed."

As the students dispersed, the weight of Krishna's absence hung heavy in the air. Arjun and his friends, still gloomy, gathered in their usual spot, saying little. The silence was broken by Bheem, who, despite everything, maintained his usual boisterous energy. "I don't know about you all," he said, trying to inject some enthusiasm into the group, "but I'm both anxious and excited about tomorrow! We get to choose our field of magical specialization. What do you all think you'll take?"

Yudhisthir was the first to respond, his voice calm and thoughtful. "I'm leaning towards magical diplomacy and literature," he said. "I think it's important to understand the power of magical diplomacy and the impact it can have."

Nakul, ever the studious one, chimed in next. "Spells and witchcraft for me," he said confidently. "There's so much to learn in that field, and it fascinates me."

Sahdev, always the curious explorer, added his thoughts. "I think I'll take potions. The idea of mixing elements to create something entirely new is intriguing."

Bheem, grinning widely, couldn't hold back any longer. "Magical weaponry, of course!" he declared with a mighty roar. "I'm going to become the greatest warrior this world has ever seen!"

Everyone laughed, the mood lightening a little as they turned to Arjun. But when he was asked about his choice, Arjun hesitated. "I haven't decided yet," he admitted, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. "I'll think about it until tomorrow."

That night, as the others slept, Arjun lay awake in his bed, his mind racing. The events of the day, coupled with Krishna's departure, weighed heavily on him. He had always been confident in his decisions, but now, for the first time, he found himself unsure. What path should he take? What was his true calling?

Arjun thought about Krishna, his new best friend, and the challenge he had left them with. Krishna had a way of knowing things, of seeing potential in others that they didn't always see in themselves. Arjun wondered what Krishna would say if he were here, what advice he would give.

The night dragged on as Arjun wrestled with his thoughts. He considered each option, imagining himself in each field, trying to see where he would fit best. He thought about magical weaponry, about spells, potions, diplomacy—all of them held some appeal, but none felt quite right.

Finally, as dawn began to break, a realization dawned on him. He knew what he had to do.

The next morning, the students gathered in the assembly hall once more. This time, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. The teachers of the different magical fields stood at various corners of the hall, each ready to welcome new students into their discipline.

Guru Drona's voice echoed through the hall. "You will now choose your magical specialization. Stand with the teacher who represents your chosen field, and you will be taken on an introductory visit."

One by one, students began to move towards the teachers of their desired fields. Yudhisthir walked confidently to the corner where the teacher of magical diplomacy and literature stood, followed by Nakul towards the spells and witchcraft corner, Sahdev to potions, and Bheem to magical weaponry.

As the students dispersed, only Arjun remained standing in the center of the hall. All eyes turned to him, curious to see what choice he would make. A grin slowly spread across Arjun's face, and with steady steps, he began walking ....
