章 97: Chapter 97

After her shout the atmosphere turned quiet before the land began to tremble. Soon in the horizon you could see a dust cloud coming straight towards them.

Upon closer inspection one would see that a huge horde of beasts were making that dust cloud.

" Well damn I forgot about those guys' enthusiasm " Roxanne cursed under her breath as readied herself for impact.

And in just a few seconds she was bombarded with numerous beasts who jumped on her for hugs. And in a second Roxanne was holding a mountain of beasts who were crying in her embrace.

"It's good to see you guys too "Roxanne said after everyone was in her embrace. After a while she put everyone down.

" We miss you master " came the voice of one of the beasts.

" yeah master where have been all these days. You didn't even come to visit us for almost a year, " said another beast.

" Hmm, we thought master had forgotten us, " said the third beast.

" Hmph it was just you who thought that, Don't include us " said the fourth member.

"Yeah we for once didn't have such thoughts, " said the last member.

The others also nodded in agreement. " You all " seeing his friends betray him like this the third member felt the world isn't fair.

"Hahaha guys don't bully Groudon too much. You all know he is a softy " Roxanne said with a chuckle.

She then turned to the gobsmacked Issei and said " I hope these guys didn't scare you. Let me introduce them. "

She then pointed to one and introduced. "This one here is Arceus the eldest "

"Hello it's nice to meet you " Arceus said as he gave a small bow. Arceus has an androgynous appearance, resembling a qilin or centaur with a grey, vertically striated underside. This pattern appears on its mane, tail, and face. It has gold-tipped hooves and a long mane jutting from its head. Its face is grey with green eyes, red pupils, and a green circular pattern below them.

It also has a gold streak on its head and upward-pointing ears. Its long neck features white flaps and two pairs of side extrusions. A golden cross-like wheel with four jewels is attached to its round abdomen, changing colour every so often. The grey striated pattern continues past its waist, with grey undersides and extrusions on its limbs. Its tail resembles its mane in shape and colour.

She then pointed to two others and said, "Then we have Dialga and Palkia who are the second oldest amongst them "

"Heya nice to meet ya " Dialga said as he gave a small wave. It was a dark-blue, sauropod-like beast with gray metallic portions and light blue stripes. It has a chest plate on its torso with a deep blue diamond-like crystal embedded in the center. A fin-like structure adorns its back, and three spines line the back of its neck. Its head has a crest resembling a sundial's rod, with two horn- and fang-like structures extending outward. Its feet have three metallic claws, matching the look of its chest plate.

"Yo " Palkia said as it just gave them a nod. It is a light-purple, theropod-like beast with darker stripes and markings, and gray underarms and waist. It features round, purple-striped plates on its shoulders, each with an encrusted pink pearl-like crystal encircled by a gray rim. It has fin-like wings on its back, extended formations on its arms resembling gauntlets, and a purple band around each wrist. It has a long, usually bent neck, a pointed white crest on its head extending to its wings, and two strong horn-like tusks on the sides of its jaw. It also has a powerful tail and faint cracks along its legs and tail.

" And lastly we have Groudon and Kyogre who are the youngest " Roxanne said finishing her explanation.

"Hello " Groudon said as it looked at the newcomers with curiosity. It is a massive, bipedal, dinosaur-like beast covered in red, segmented plates of thick, lava-resistant skin serving as armor. It has a gray underside and large white spikes along its head, body, and tail. It has four claws on each hand, four dozer-like blades on its large tail, and three claws on each foot with gray markings underneath.

"Nice to meet ya " Kyogre said as it raised one of its fins. It is a massive, whale-like beast with a deep blue body and a white chin area, featuring two small spikes underneath. It has two large pectoral fins, each with four white square-shaped nails. Above each eye are two white, oval-shaped spots. Its body is adorned with red stripes around its chin, eyes, dorsal fins, and torso, which glow when it is brimming with power. Its tattered tail has four trailing parts, with the inner ones smaller than the outer. Its small yellow eyes are shadowed with black, adding to its striking appearance. And most importantly it was floating in the air.

"A floating fish, That's so cool " Issei exclaimed as it marvelled at Kyogre.

" Hahahah I get that reaction a lot, " Kyogre said as he found Issei's reaction amusing.

"Really but we hardly get any visitors "Groudon asked innocently. Amongst the five of them he is most innocent amongst them.

Hearing his words Kyogre almost lost control over her powers and fell down. Had he not know how innocent Groudon is he would have immediately fought him to the death. And the sniceking of Dialga and Palkia doesn't make it better.

" So anyway, where is Ereshkigal? "Roxanne asked as she looked around.

" sigh as soon as he heard people were coming she ran inside to do her makeup." Arceus said with a sigh.

"Oh that would mean she would take quite a while huh. Well anyway why don't we all go inside the palace. " Roxanne said after thinking about it. She then turned to Issei and Tannin and said, "well guys let's go inside, our host would take a while to arrive. " and without waiting for an answer she walked towards a specific direction with the five beasts.

Issei was about to join them but he was stopped by Tannin. Tannin looked at him with a serious expression and asked, "Hey Issei how trustworthy is this Roxanne ? "

Although issei was puzzled at the sudden question and atmosphere he still answered, " I completely trust Roxanne. She has never hurt me or anyone close to me "

"I see. "That's all Tannin said as he started walking. If Roxanne is an ally of Issei then it would be wonderful. When he saw the five beasts he could tell at a glance that they were not living beings. If he were to make a guess then they are sacred gears who have individual consciences.

And Tannin had never heard of these five sacred gears in his whole life so he could only guess two outcomes. One they never had a second host since all of them have been here for hundreds of years. And second they are new sacred gears that were made by someone else.

If it was the second then that would mean there is a person who could make sacred gears to such perfection. And Tannin very much doesn't dare to have such a person as his enemy.
