It had been a week since the sealing of the evil god Loki, and the aftermath was still unfolding. As expected, Vali and his team had shown up to take Fenrir away, but unlike their usual flashy entrance, this time they moved like a band of thieves, sneaking in and out without making a scene. Vali knew better than to draw attention, especially with Roxanne Lucifer around.
He understood one thing perfectly: one wrong move, one misplaced word, and she could destroy everything he had worked for. The only reason he wasn't locked up right now was that Roxanne didn't deem him worth her time. Vali knew better than anyone not to poke the lion's den—Roxanne would kick his ass without hesitation.
Despite that chaotic incident, things settled down as much as they could. The alliance had been successfully formed, and the Anti-Khaos Brigade Alliance grew in strength and influence. On top of that, the Satans decided it was time for a little "house cleaning" within the Devil Council. The sudden emergence of two evil dragons attempting to attack Roxanne had shaken their confidence, and it became clear that someone within their ranks had helped orchestrate the attack.
Teleporting two powerful dragons into an artificial space crafted by a Super-Class Devil like Ajuka Beelzebub wasn't something that could just *happen*. The level of skill, secrecy, and planning required was insane, but somehow, it had happened—and the target had been Roxanne. There were only three ways this could've gone down: Either Ajuka himself had allowed it (which was unlikely), someone had managed to hack into the space and take control (basically impossible), or—and this was the real kicker—someone on the inside had leaked the coordinates and given them direct access.
In this case, it was the third option. The only two parties who had access to that information were Odin, who had to teleport Mjolnir, and the Devil Council, who wanted to monitor the fight. Odin commissioning such an attack was illogical, which left one conclusion: members of the Devil Council had betrayed them.
This was enough to justify breaking the peace treaty, and Azrael wasted no time in presenting the Devil Faction with two choices: either she dealt with the traitors personally, or the Devil faction would handle it themselves. The Satans chose the latter.
Under their orders, a large-scale purge ensued. Many spies and sleeper agents within the council were arrested. Several council members who had been suspected of treachery tried to protest, but curiously, they became very cooperative once captured. During interrogations, they were unusually forthcoming, as though under the influence of some truth serum.
They confessed to everything—how they feared Roxanne's growing power, how they wanted to eliminate her before she became a threat, and how they had been planted as sleeper agents by Rizevim before his retreat. They also revealed how they had played a crucial role in keeping the Khaos Brigade's movements hidden from the Devil Council.
With such revelations, the Devil Council was thrown into disarray. Even those members who tried to intervene found themselves powerless, as their black history had been exposed. It was impossible to openly defend traitors without incriminating themselves.
To make matters worse, a mishap led to the reports of the interrogations being leaked to the media. The revelation caused widespread panic across the Devil society. Ordinary devils and noble families began to question the integrity of the council. Trust was shattered, and chaos ensued as the very foundation of the Devil society was shaken to its core.
But all of that didn't matter to the kids( AKA Issei and his friends ) as they bid farewell to Rias's parents. With their summer break nearing its end they had to go back to Kouh. although they have some incredible deeds at the end of the day they are still some school children.
" Remember to visit us next school vacation, " Rias's mother said as she petted Issei's head. She did like this kid who has a very honest personality. What's more, she is happy that her stupid daughter finaly found someone she could truly love.
"Yes lady Gremory, " Issei said as he tried his best not to look at her amazing figure. And he is barely being able to retrain his urges.
"Oh, sweety you should call me mother or mother-in-law, " Venelena said as she began to tease Issei who was getting more and more embarrassed as the seconds went by.
One of her favorite things to do is bully such pure kids. Since her daughter seems to getting more and more immune to her teasing, she was secretly happy to have Issei join the family. This way she could still have someone to bully.
"Okay, that's enough Mother the train is about to leave so we got to go " Rias who was eavesdropping on their conversation interrupted them as she dragged the bewildered Issei away from the reluctant Velena.
"Oh, that's too bad, be sure to come to visit us next time, " Venelena said as she smiled helplessly at her daughter who was fleeing with her favorite devil servant.
" Please come back soon " the clueless Millicas waved at them as he watched the departing figure of his aunt and her peerage members. Just now Rias and Millicas were having their touching farewell when Rias suddenly bolted away with Issei.
" Now now cheer up Millicas it's not like they won't come back next school break. " Venelena said as she hugged the dejected Millicas to cheer him up.
"Umm " Millicas just nodded his head not saying anything more. He really wished his aunt could stay a little more.
" Say Millicas why don't we go watch your favourite show on TV? I'm sure that would cheer you up " Venelena suggested as she didn't want her grandson to be all dejected.
"Ok " Millicas nodded his head as a bit of sparkle came back into his sad eyes. There is no better way to cheer up a saddened child rather than to let them watch their favorite show.
In front of their favorite show, nothing matters. This is a tested and proven fact so many parents use this method to coax their children.
