Imagine being a plain old human being who was born and lived on twenty-first-century Earth for nearly two decades, then suddenly dying and being reborn into a World where magic exists!
Granted, Seir wasn't actually a plain old human being in his previous life, rather, he was a scientist with no scientific morals and would go to any lengths to research whatever he wanted. At the end of the day, what would such a normal human being do when they discover that they have died and reborn into a world filled with magic?
What would be the first reaction of a normal human regardless of whether they are male, female, or other?
Since there are no statistics available in regards to such a question, answering it is subjective to one's personal opinion and experience which may or may not be applicable to everyone or as they call it in democracy, the majority, but what is clear is that for a human from the modern-day Earth, the concept of invoking, manipulating or manifesting supernatural phenomenon to bend the laws of nature of the material world, otherwise described as Magic is a completely foreign concept.
Humans of Earth may or may not understand the Concept of Magic and Magic itself, but from the era of the uncivilized tribal societies to the civilized era of modern machines and AI, the idea of Magic, mystic, and supernatural has perhaps always fascinated Human society.
Humans may or may not believe in the existence of Magic and the supernatural; they may treat the concept of Magic and Mystic as nothing more than hoaxes, trickery, stupidity, and superstition, but nobody, not a single human, can deny that, at least once in their life, they have longed for Magic in some form. Be that just in the form of some good luck charm, human longing for magic is very real.
'If only I could use Magic, life would be easier…'
'Oh god… I wish I could use Magic, I would be able to complete my homework effortlessly…'
'I wish there was some way to manage taxes magically…'
'I wish I had a way of knowing what everyone around me thinks about me…'
'Man, do I really have to go there on such short notice and that too in such terrible weather? I wish I could use magic, I would be there in a jiffy!'
'Mommy, when am I going to get my Hogwarts letter? I am already eleven and it's almost July, shouldn't owls have brought it by now?'
'Science is incapable of curing my illness… if only magic existed, perhaps there would be a way to heal my illness…'
'Oh god… please do some magic and give me good luck for today so that I don't mess up my first date with Jennifer!'
'If I had magic, all my problems would be solved without any problem, heck, not only mine, I would even solve all the unsolvable problems on Earth like wars, terrorism, poverty, crime, violence, hunger, global warming, gender identity issues, and cancer!'
And so on…
But at the end of the day, Magic and mysticism are something people can only long for as it does not exist in the reality of Earth that Seir used to live on in his previous life.
But this is not to say that Magic doesn't exis–?
No wait… while Magic doesn't exist, people who perform magic do exist and are widely known as magicians, mentalists, astrologers, seers, tantriks, or whatever they want to call themselves… but they do seem to exist. They claim to perform magic and other supernatural phenomenon, but are they really what they claim to be?
Explaining magicians and mentalists is, in fact, quite simple: rather than beings capable of manipulating the supernatural, they are entertainers who use tricks, techniques, cleverness, observation, engineering, and experience as their skills to leave the audience in awe. No doubt they have mastered their craft with hard work, practice, and dedication and must be praised for that, but the truth is, in reality, they aren't true magicians, they are entertainers.
On the other hand, astrologers, seers, tantriks, et cetera who claim to harness the supernatural forces are, in fact, using human's fear of the unknown, uncertainty, and superstition, as well as their own keen observation skills, and vagueness as their tools to fool people, they too aren't magicians.
True magic, mystic, and supernatural are concepts only found depicted in mythologies and fiction, hence why such genres are incredibly popular among the populace of the modern-day earth, in actuality, there is no definite proof of their existence in the real world.
On the off chance that it exists, the practitioners must be highly commended as information about it never reached the mainstream media and the general public, but that is only a what-if scenario, and highly unlikely to be a possibility.
Although it's true that people long for the supernatural, in reality, most of them are also very self-aware of the fact that magic and mysticism are concepts that exist only in fiction and fantasy–those who don't think so need to touch some grass and hang out with some real-world people that live in present reality to escape their escapism tendencies.
If even doing that doesn't help, they probably need to immediately see a psychologist for some psychological help to readapt and get used to the real world, and if they don't want to do that, then they must accept that they are far too gone to be able to live in the modern human society that is slowly and steadily heading towards its own doom.
Naturally, Seir too longed for magic in his previous life, although it wasn't to the point of developing escapism tendencies… but he did waste much of his teenage days daydreaming such stuff.
If getting reborn with the memories of the previous life intact and getting the chance to live another life in an alien world from the start was already a miracle that science can never begin to explain, then discovering the definite proof of the existence of true magic in the new world was the cherry on top. If it was biologically possible for a month-old baby to get hard, Seir would have already orgasmed at the thought of being able to use magic, that's just how excited he was and wanted to use magic immediately.
But that's where the problem arose…
'Sigh, it's really troublesome…' sighed Seir as he looked around him.
Since he is only a three-month-old baby at the moment, three to four adults, mostly Sephie, Mal, or Roygun, and a few maids or butlers working in the castle are almost always around to watch over him. It doesn't matter what he is doing; they are always present around him.
'Why don't these people understand that even a baby needs some privacy to secretly try and perform some magic stuff he has watched the people in the castle perform before his eyes, but no… they wouldn't let me have my privacy…'
While he understands their reasons to be present around him all the damn time. It's probably for security and safety reasons; it's also because they want to fawn over him; always having people around kind of makes it impossible for him to use magic without alerting them.
'But then again, even if no one was watching me, would I really be able to use magic? In the first place, how do you use Magic?' He does not have an answer to this question. Certainly, he witnessed servants of the castle use magic right before his eyes, but that is not enough for him to be able to perform the magic as well, his IQ, grasping skills, intellect, and genius are not that high.
Sure, he was a scientist, but that was a profession he earned after years of study and research. As a scientist, if you asked him how to perform a chemical experiment or conduct a specific test, he could provide a decent explanation. However, when it comes to the question of 'How do you use magic?'— and that too without much knowledge about this world, Seir has absolutely no idea!
In fact, Seir doesn't even know if he can use magic… personally, he believes that he can use magic because he has witnessed Mal, Sephie, and Roygun perform some sort of magic with his eyes, which means that the three people he is genetically closest to are perfectly capable of using magic. Taking into account how genetics work, if the parents have some trait, normally that trait is passed down to their children, which means that if his biological parents are capable of using magic, and if 'being capable of using magic' is a hereditable trait, then as their legitimate biological son; he ought to be capable of using it as well, right? Unless, of course, he is super unlucky and his genes are somehow expressing the recessive traits.
That would be a real, pity, wouldn't it?
'Let's hope that I didn't draw the shortest end of the stick when it comes to the genetic lottery!'
But on another note, is the concept of Genetics applicable in this strange world with magic in it? Seir doesn't have an answer; all he can try to do is figure out whether he can use magic, and there's only one method to do that, which is to actually try and use magic, which brings him back to the starting problem of always having people around.
'Fuck it, Sephie and Mal, Roygun can use magic as well… Cecily, Élise, Agni, Sheetal, and other maids and butlers in the Castle are capable of using magic… and everyone seems to love me and adore me so even if I am discovered while using magic, it wouldn't be that big of a deal other than the fact that I would probably be treated as a very talented baby… on the other hand, if I am found incapable of using magic, that might not be a piece of very good news… so it's better to try and figure out a way to use magic to avoid the scenario of being incapable of using magic.'
With that in mind, Seir decided to no longer care about privacy and attempted to use magic in the coming days.
.
.
A few weeks later
'Why isn't it working?' thought Seir in frustration.
For the past few weeks, he has been continuously trying to use Magic, but it's not working at all!
He tried to create water but there was no result except failing to control his pee and once again ended up wetting the diaper, talk about pathetic.
He tried to create other elements such as fire, wind, air, earth, lightning, and so on… but there wasn't any result, nothing appeared, which led him to wonder quite often, 'Don't tell me, I am incapable of using Magic…? That would be a very big problem!'
There are two problems with him not being capable of using magic. First is naturally that his hopes of being capable of using magic would be crushed, and the second problem would be the poor treatment he might end up receiving from his family if he is incapable of using magic. The fear of being neglected and poorly treated led Seir to continuously try and figure out a way to use magic at any cost, but no matter what he did, he was unable to use magic, which made him shit his diaper!
'Am I doomed?' such a thought appeared in his mind, but it was quickly discarded because Seir soon came across something that reignited his hopes. While he failed to use Magic, he discovered that whenever he attempted to use magic, a violet aura would surround him. According to his guesses, that violet aura is the fuel required to use Magic, and it is known as the Demonic Power.
'How do I know that this fuel is called Demonic Power, you ask? For that, we would have to go back a few days in the past…'
.
.
Flashback: Start
'Come on… this time for certain…' 'Water Ball!'
Hum!
Although the water ball he was hoping to create did not appear, Seir was suddenly surrounded by a violet aura which confused him.
'Huh? What is this…? It's not a water ball… but it is definitely something related to magic…'
While Seir was trying to analyze the violet aura that suddenly appeared around him, Sephie–who was reading a book–suddenly blinked her eyes as she sensed something, 'Huh? This is!' and looked at the source. Unsurprisingly, she noticed the violet aura around Seir's body, and was shocked, 'It really is!'
Immediately, she put down the book on the coffee table and approached the crib on which Seir was 'playing.'
'...'
'...'
The pair of pink eyes and red eyes stared at each other as Seir's concentration was broken and the violet aura surrounding him disappeared.
'Uh-oh, I don't know how Sephie would react…' thought Seir as he looked at his mother. Although he had confidence that she wouldn't freak out and start calling him a monster or something, he still couldn't help but be nervous about creating a supernatural phenomenon while still a baby.
Turns out, he was worrying for nothing, as the aura around Seir disappeared, Sephie crouched down beside the crib, and with a smile, she caressed his cheek excitedly, "Isn't my baby a genius? You are only two months old and you can already channel your Demonic Power…! Daddy would also be very happy to hear that his son is a genius!"
"Awa wawwaaa awaaa…" while speaking out random baby words, internally, Seir breathed a sigh, 'Fortunately, she is treating me as a Genius instead of a monster.' At the same time, he noticed something particular spoken by Sephie and couldn't help but wonder, 'Demonic power? As in, this fuel needed to use magic is called Demonic power…? Do they call it Demonic Power because we are Demons or something? It's a strange name for what might essentially be just Magical Energy!'
Flashback: End
.
.
While Seir felt that calling magical energy/fuel demonic power was somewhat weird… he did not think too much about it. Denizens are free to call this magical energy whatever they want, the name is irrelevant, what's important is that he possesses this Demonic power thing.
Having confirmed that he is not incapable of using magic, Seir is both happy and relieved. The next thing on his to-do list is to somehow learn how to control his demonic power and use it to perform supernatural phenomena known as Magic!
.
.
.
One Month Later
'Come on Demonic Power thingy… create the windy effect…' thought Seir as he tightened his forehead and imagined a small cycle of wind appearing above his crib and urged his Demonic Power to get consumed in order to produce the effect he intended to see.
As you'd expect, a few moments after Seir imagined the windy effect, suddenly, a violet aura appeared around his body as he felt a small decrease in his Demonic Power reserves, then an esoteric magic circle of the same color as the aura surrounding his body appeared above the crib, and from that, a small burst of cycling wind appeared.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
The maids on the side suddenly clapped as they saw a brilliant display of magic from baby Seir. Sheetal even went as far as to comment, "Amazing… it worked, Lord Seir really did use magic… to be able to perform conscious magic at the age of just three months… it's nothing but brilliant…"
Agni nodded in amazement "Yes, Lord Seir is an exceptional genius, isn't he?!"
The other maids in the room agreed with the pair of fraternal twin sisters who tend to argue about almost everything like Ice & fire.
Moving away from the twin sisters, while it's not strange for newborn babies to produce magical effects around them from time to time, they mostly do it subconsciously and because of a lack of control over their Demonic Power, but that's not the case for Seir, he seems to have a certain degree of control over his Demonic Power and is producing magical phenomenon consciously, even if that doesn't make much sense and shouldn't even be possible considering he is only three months old and not even capable enough of speaking or walking, much less thought processing or imagining; yet he is able to perform magic consciously…!
This is quite strange, and a very big thing.
Such strangeness can only be attributed as the mark of a genius.
'Yes, Lord Seir is a genius of the highest degree, just like Lady Roygun!'
It happens from time to time when Geniuses with unmatched potential are born in the sense that their existence is very hard to explain by common sense, but even if their existence is quite inexplicable, it's an undeniable truth that they do exist.
Some of the strongest individuals of their race are such beings.
The current Head of the House of Belphegor, Roygun Belphegor, is one such being.
And that's also the kind of existence the maids of the castle compare Seir to. They firmly believe that he would also grow up to become one such being.
'Lord Seir might not only become someone as strong and capable as Lady Roygun; he might even surpass her!'
Unaware of the maids' thoughts, Seir smiled proudly as he watched the small cycle of wind, 'Atta boy…'
Truth be told, Seir wouldn't describe using magic as particularly easy, at least not for the time being. It took him more than two months of constant trial and error after figuring out the existence of Demonic Power to reach this stage, which is quite surprising since he was able to figure out the mechanism of creating magical phenomena like the one he created just now within two weeks.
After countless trials and errors across hundreds of attempts at magic invocation, Seir finally concluded that this "Demonic Power" operates based on imagination. If someone can clearly envision a supernatural phenomenon they wish to create, they can invoke it by using Demonic Power as the cost for the invocation.
Once he figured out the basic method, Seir was brimming with confidence. He thought he was a genius and assumed he'd be able to master magic in no time. After all, it seemed simple enough: imagine the phenomenon you want to create and channel your Demonic Power to bring it to life. How hard could it be?
Unfortunately, Seir's optimism didn't last long. Reality hit hard. Not only did things fail to proceed smoothly, but he soon found himself completely stuck.
While everything seemed straightforward on paper, it turned out to be far more challenging in practice.
Yes, theoretically, it's simple enough, but when it came to actual application, it wasn't as easy as Seir had imagined. Perhaps this difficulty was unique to him. Maybe for the native denizens of this world, especially those without a fully matured way of thinking, the first invocation comes more naturally.
The main reason invocation proved difficult for Seir was his struggle to imagine and visualize the magical phenomenon he wanted to create.
Yes, as absurd as it sounds, the problem lay in the imagination part!
'Sigh… it's so embarrassing to struggle with imagination when I used to be such a daydreamer!' he thought with exasperation.
While it's true that Seir used to daydream quite a bit during his teenage years in his past life, he wouldn't call his daydreaming skills exceptional. Nor would he describe his imagination or visualization abilities as remarkable or something to be proud of. In fact, these skills were rather lacking and nothing worth boasting about.
However, the real issue isn't just his subpar imagination and visualization skills. The crux of the problem lies in his method of processing thoughts, which is primarily based on words and sentences rather than imagery and visuals.
Yes, Seir's thoughts are structured in linguistic forms—words and sentences—rather than vivid mental images or visualizations.
In everyday life, this difference in thought processing might not matter much. While people who think in imagery may have a slight edge in speed and efficiency, it's not a significant concern. However, when it comes to invoking magic, the method of thought processing becomes critically important.
Some might be wondering, "Huh? What? Thoughts? Words? Imagery? What is this guy even talking about? Is he delusional? Isn't invoking magic as simple as imagining something and making it happen by consuming Demonic Power? So, why does the method of thought processing even matter?"
Well, let's break it down with an example.
Suppose someone wants to create a ball of water through magic. How would they go about producing such a supernatural phenomenon?
They'd imagine a ball of water in their mind and then use their Demonic Power to bring that vision to life in exchange for the magical effect.
Simple enough, right?
But while the process may seem straightforward, it raises an important question: how exactly does someone imagine? Or, to be more specific, 'how do they process their thoughts and imagination?'
When imagining the formation of a ball of water, would they visualize the clear water in their surroundings coming together and gradually forming a ball? Or would they imagine the words: 'clear water from the surroundings gathering and slowly taking the form of a ball of water'?
It's similar to imagining a purple eggplant. Some people would picture the eggplant itself, vividly seeing its purple color and shape. Others, however, might instead think of the words: 'purple,' 'eggplant,' 'tear-shape,' and so on.
People process their thoughts in various ways—some rely on words, others on imagery, sounds, or even numbers and patterns. The way thoughts are processed can greatly influence how they are understood.
However, in this context, understanding the thoughts themselves isn't the focus, nor is it particularly important. What truly matters is that the imagination must be as clear and detailed as possible, with minimal distractions or 'noise.'
Now, if clarity and detail are essential, wouldn't things become significantly more challenging for someone whose thoughts are primarily processed as words and sentences? After all, crafting a detailed and precise imagination in such a case might require anything from a paragraph to an entire novel just to describe something as seemingly simple as a ball of water.
In contrast, someone who processes their thoughts through imagery and visualization can achieve a similar—or even greater—level of detail in a single vivid image. This makes the process far more efficient and less cumbersome for them.
The key to using magic, as Seir understands it, lies in imagination. However, since Seir processes his thoughts in the form of words and sentences, this not only makes the process highly inefficient but also significantly more challenging for him. It has even led him to consider whether he should try to change the way he processes his thoughts altogether.
Yes, Seir has entertained the idea of transitioning from processing his thoughts in words and sentences to using imagery and visuals instead.
But is such a transformation as simple as deciding to make it happen?
Definitely not! Completely altering one's method of thought processing is an incredibly difficult task, likely beyond what most people could hope to achieve in their lifetimes. It would require rewiring the brain itself and then consciously working to adopt an entirely different way of thinking—an undertaking that is both daunting and uncertain.
If Seir wanted to properly invoke magic, he needed to rewire his brain from processing thoughts in words and sentences to relying on imagery and visuals.
But how does someone achieve such a monumental shift? How does one rewire their brain and fundamentally change the way they process thoughts?
The only method Seir knew was to learn something new and practice it repeatedly until it became second nature.
Learning a new skill—like a language, art, music, or even a programming language—requires time, effort, and practice. However, there was one glaring problem: Seir was a baby. A baby simply couldn't tackle such tasks, no matter how much they might want to.
Faced with this limitation, Seir searched for alternatives. The best idea he could come up with was to focus on visualizing his imagination. Even though his natural thought process relied on words and sentences, if he consciously put effort into visualizing instead, maybe it would eventually become easier.
He didn't know if this method would work, but it was his only option. More importantly, it gave him something to focus on. As a baby with little else to do, this approach not only filled his time but also helped stave off the boredom that came with his current reality.
'Yes, being a baby is incredibly boring… Having something to focus on is far better than having nothing at all, even if that something ultimately turns out to be a complete waste of time and effort.'
With that thought, Seir decided to put the plan in motion.
His plan was simple: focus intensely on imagining things—but not just imagining in the abstract. He needed to visualize his imagination in vivid, tangible detail. He needed to spend time and effort on his imagination.
At first, the process was extremely challenging. Every time he attempted to imagine something, his mind instinctively reverted to words and sentences. It was frustrating, but Seir persisted. Over time, with patience and relentless effort—like a baby with plenty of time to explore and nothing else to do but eat, sleep, and stumble through small achievements—he began to make progress.
Slowly but surely, his hard work paid off. While it wasn't easy, and his success rate was initially dismal, he eventually managed to produce successful visualizations in a handful of attempts, as long as he focused with unwavering determination.
Why only one successful attempt out of every few instead of every time?
Well, the issue wasn't just about his method of processing thoughts; it was also tied to his short attention span!
As you might expect from someone who used to live on modern-day Earth with access to social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, Seir's attention span wasn't exactly impressive. Unless he was engaged in something logical, like solving a math or physics problem, conducting some experiment in the laboratory, or watching a straightforward, not-too-complex movie, maintaining focus was a challenge.
So, having to continuously concentrate on something as abstract and illogical as imagination—something that demanded extended focus on a vague concept—was an uphill battle for him.
Sigh 'My attention span really isn't that great. No wonder I was never artistic or particularly creative...'
The idea of casting magic was too fascinating for Seir to give up, so he persevered. After two months of continuous effort, he finally managed to create the small whirl of wind resembling a cyclone that he had been aiming for.
To the maids, who are unaware of the effort put into the invocation of that small wind vortex, everything seemed effortless. However, only Seir truly understood the sheer amount of hard work and practice it had taken to pull off something as seemingly simple as this.
But from the maids' perspective, the situation was entirely different. After all, the one casting magic was just a baby, only a few months old. Regardless of how much effort Seir had poured into it, to them, it was the miraculous feat of a talented newborn.
A baby invoking magic—a phenomenon so rare that they were already hailing him as a genius.
The maids had heard stories of the extraordinary talent and genius displayed by the current Devil Kings during their early childhood. To them, Seir didn't seem any different with his ability to invoke magic despite being only a few months old baby. It was no surprise, then, that they began touting him as an exceptional prodigy.
'A genius, huh?' Seir thought. 'Am I, though?'
As Seir was momentarily distracted, he sort of lost control over the amount of Demonic Energy being fed to the Magic Circle. As a result, a lot more demonic energy than he had intended to feed to the magic circle entered inside it, causing Seir to lose control over the magic circle, the cycle of wind to instantly expand, and surround the entire crib as well as the surroundings, lifting the crib and other furniture in the room into the air and move in circles along the winds.
The furniture and crib moving along the wind collided with each other, cracking and breaking, which caused Seir to separate from the bed and revolve along the wind in circles.
"What? Lord Seir… stop… that's dangerous… you will get hurt!" Sheetal panicked and attempted to get closer but by that time, the wind speed was already quite strong and she was being pushed back.
"Waaaaa… Waaaaa… Waaaaa!" (What the heck is going on? Someone, please stop this!) Baby Seir screamed at the top of his tiny lungs as his little body spun helplessly in circles, caught up in the whirlwind he had created.
Fuck, it only took a moment of distraction for the small whirlwind to turn into a disaster—things had spiraled out of control, and he had no idea how to stop it!
Caught in the middle of this whirlwind disaster, it would be a lie to say Seir wasn't panicking a little—okay, he was absolutely panicking and was on the verge of crying and begging for his pathetic baby life.
But then it hit him—what good would panicking do? If he didn't want to end up hurt or worse, he had to take control and do something about it himself!
Spinning wildly along with the chaotic winds, he had no control over his tiny body and feared crashing into the furniture and glass swirling dangerously around him. It was hard to think straight with everything happening at once, but one thing was clear: the situation had completely spiraled out of control, and he needed to stop it somehow. Gritting his metaphorical teeth, he focused and tried to dissipate the storm he had unintentionally unleashed.
Seeing Sheetal being pushed back, Agni stepped forward as an orange aura appeared around her, and the temperature in the room started to rise, she was about to summon fire, but before she could, Sheetal put her hand on the shoulder and stopped her, "Have you lost your mind, bimbo? If you use fire, the wind will fan the flames, turning this wind tornado into a fire tornado, and something like will instantly burn Lord Seir into ashes!"
"Right… I… I forgot… but do something… at this rate…" spoke Agni in panic and worry as the orange aura around her disappeared and the surrounding temperature returned back to normal.
"I will freeze the room…" nodded Sheetal as an icy-blue aura appeared around Sheetal and the temperature in the surroundings started to decrease.
'Stop!' screamed Seir internally as he stopped feeding demonic power to the magic circle. The sudden cut in the supply of demonic energy caused the magic circle to dissipate along with the cycle of wind.
The sudden disappearance of the magic circle as well as the winds caused Sheetal to stop from covering the entire room in her ice, and she sighed, "Thankfully…" But before she could breathe a sigh of relief, there was already the next problem before her, and it was the fact that Seir had started to fall!
The height of the ceiling of his room was about ten meters or something, and he was falling from a height of about eight meters or something. If he were to fall on the floor from such a height, best case he would survive with some sort of disability, and worst case he would die.
He had just managed to barely save his life from the tornado, and now he was going to die from a fall. Talk about bad luck!
'Fuck, I don't want to die this early!' thought Seir as he saw the approaching surface with his eyes in panic and shut them tightly in fear of death.
Seeing Seir about to fall, Agni shouted, "Don't worry… I got him!" and leaped forward to catch him midway through the falls.
Sheetal did not give a reply, but she made sure to create ice constructs to take care of the furniture and other things that might become an obstacle for Agni.
The cooperation between the two sisters was exceptional as without any problem, Agni managed to save Seir and safely landed back on her feet while carrying him in her arms, but their breaths were still not relieved as Sheetal and the other maids quickly approached Agni and Seir to make sure there are no injuries on his body. Only after Sheetal was absolutely certain she spoke, "It's alright, there are no injuries, Lord Seir is perfectly safe… This must be the result of inheriting Lord Malakarion's extremely sturdy physique and the clothes he is wearing. I think Lord Seir's clothes were personally enchanted by Lady Sephie. Thank full, our Lady had done that! Otherwise, I can't imagine what would have happened…"
Everyone in the room breathed a sigh of relief, "Thanks, Maou… nothing happened to Lord Seir…"
Just as everyone was relieved, suddenly, a voice came from the door, "What is happening here?"
Hearing the voice, Agni, Sheetal, and other maids quickly turned around and noticed Mal, Sephie, Cecily, and Élise. Immediately all the maids became nervous and tried to explain, "That… Lord Mal…"
'I am sorry Sheetal, Agni… and you guys…'
The maids watching over him were in for some serious scolding, and Seir felt a little sorry for them since they weren't really at fault.
