"Stop laughing." Xu Moyan poked him. He was the worst.
If he kept chuckling like that, she would want to keep snuggling in his embrace, and that way she would not get anything done.
Wei Zilin smiled widely, but he stopped laughing obediently. Unfortunately, his voice was just naturally charismatic, and even the most casual things he said would affect Xu Moyan. That was something he could not help.
Wei Zilin kissed the corner of her eyes. "Is the cake done?"
Xu Moyan took a deep breath. All she could smell was his sweet fragrance, faint and clean.
"It's done," Xu Moyan said, taking half a step back and retreating from his embrace.
She turned around and was about to grab a knife to cut the cake, but Wei Zilin stopped her. "Don't cut it. It's not that big, so let's eat it together."
They could take turns taking bites out of it. That image was sweet enough to make bubbles rise in Wei Zilin's heart.
