"Close? Not really. We are merely acquaintances," Han Ye said while he focused on the road. He thought for a second before he added, "We just met not long ago actually." 

"How do you guys know each other?" 

"I guess you can say that it's through work."

"But…"

"Angela, I'm sorry, but I can't talk too much about her. Hope you don't mind." 

She smiled but did not say anything. However, she kept thinking about Xiao Lei. For some reason, Xiao Lei seemed to be very familiar, yet she could not place where she saw her before. 

From the silence, Han Ye felt something was wrong, and he thought that maybe he had used the wrong tone, he took her hand and said, "I'm not kidding when I said that I want to see you again. And don't worry about Xiao Lei. She's just a neighbor."
