"Mr. Jewel, I apologize for my absence from work for the next few weeks. I will send an email to HR, but I wanted to inform you first," Aria's voice trembled, her attempt to hold back tears evident. 

As someone who had always been cheerful, Robin could easily detect the change in her demeanor and sensed that something was wrong.

"What's the matter?" Robin asked, his sleepiness dissipating. Aria rarely called him so early in the morning, and her inability to come to work raised his concern even more.

Aria hesitated for a moment before recounting the heartbreaking incident, her voice breaking as she spoke. 

"Yesterday, I noticed that the baby wasn't moving as usual, so I went to the hospital."

"And what happened?" Robin asked anxiously, fear clouding his eyes. Aria had struggled for years with fertility issues, so how could life be so cruel to her?
