Before lunch, the husband and wife headed out to go grocery shopping in their matching beige trench coats. While Kyoya was clueless about where he should take his wife out, Shouko suggested going to a supermarket in the city. There would be plenty of choices for their hotpot.

"But... the food grades would differ from what the kitchen usually has. Is Grandpa okay with it?" Shouko asked worriedly.

The ingredients that the kitchen had have always been top-notch in quality. There were differences between the vegetables and meat brought from a neighborhood supermarket to the ones in the kitchen. 

Her husband could even eat a meal in a standard family restaurant so Shouko knew he wouldn't be fussy like the pretentious rich second or third generations she had encountered before. But, for people like Grandpa, how was he? Without a doubt, his meals in the old house had always been taken care of greatly by the nutritionist.
