章 303: Ah, New Year Is Really Coming

"Hurm... It's strange."

"What's wrong, my love?"

Kyoya saw Shouko coming out of Yuuya's room with a dazed expression. He walked over to her in steady steps.

Shouko lifted up her eyes to look at her husband. She said, "Yuuya isn't in his room. It's still early. Where could he have been?"

It was only half-past seven. The morning had just started but the little guy was nowhere to be found. Even so, his bed was tidied up properly.

"He must have woken up early because he slept enough last night," Kyoya concluded, "Let's go downstairs. Old Toshio or the other maids might see him."

Shouko nodded. Her husband's guess was plausible.

The husband and wife descended the stairs. The mansion was filled with tranquility as the employees worked as quietly as they could. Today was the last day of them working. Tomorrow, they would return to their hometowns for the incoming New Year and wouldn't come back until the fourth day.
