It's started like any ordinary day. The 10-year-old Abby was throwing a tantrum because her mother wouldn't allow her to go to the beach. She said there's an earthquake warning and everyone was advised to stay indoors. But she really had to finish her painting. The weather was so good, how could an earthquake happen? This was a perfect weather to finish her painting.

Abby could only stomp her feet and pout. There's been a lot of earthquakes warning before, and yet none of them really caused any damage. So, in Abby's young mind, earthquake warning was not really dangerous.
