Five curious eyes fell onto a huge building they were all in search for.
"Whoa, I can't believe we actually made it guys." A short girl with dark blonde hair and deep blue eyes spoke in a cheerful positive tone. "I bet it's even better on the inside." she added with a huge smile that never left her face.
The other four were speechless. All for different reasons.
"What do you think Jess?" The blonde spoke up toward the unnaturally pale girl who was currently latched on her arm.
"I don't like it." She blunted announced.
"Why not?"
"The bigger the building the more wandering souls there will be." The pale red head spoke in an eerie tone with near venom coming out between her teeth.
"Now, now Jess. Don't be rude when we go inside." A shorter brunette boy spoke up behind the group.
"I can't promise anything. If a soul were to look into Muriel's eyes, I'll crush that soul right between my finger tips." Jess spoke with a shaky angry tone that never once left.
"Ooooookayyyy, Y/N what do you think of the place?" The male brunette asked while glancing over at the (short/tall) girl with (short/long) (h/c) hair with (e/c) eyes.
Y/N simply glanced over blankly and shrugged.
"Wow.. nice opinion, I thought you were going to talk my ear off." The male brunette teased.
"Come on Shay, you know Y/N doesn't like big crowds." Muriel said while looking back at Y/N. "Hey, it's going to be okay. You have us, don't forget that okay?"
Y/N nodded as she let out a soft sigh only she could hear.
"Mollie, what do you think?" Muriel chipped in not forgetting about the cute long haired brunette in the back of the group next to Shay.
"Hmm, I don't know just yet. I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the inside before judging the outside." She said while taking in all her surroundings when they approached the front of the building.
"Okay guys.. Remember, no fighting on the first day. Got that Jess!!" Shay asked while glaring at his pale companion.
Jess rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, like I said if anyone looks at my precious Muriel I won't hesitate to kill them." She said completely ignoring his request.
Shay let out a long sigh. "You do know you won't be having the same classes as Muriel, right?"
Jess froze it place causing the group to stop too. "Tell me that not true.. The principal will have an ear full. I'll be sure to change that." Jess said in full determination.
Muriel let out a nervous laugh. "Now, now, Jess.. Don't be mean to the principal, he didn't know."
Jess immediately changed her attitude the second Muriel spoke. Positive energy was transferred to her empty shell of a body. Jess let out a smile unintentionally while looking at Muriel. "I'm sorry, I'll be nice to him." She said with a different cheerful tone in her voice.
Shay groaned in the back as they continued walking up to the door of the school. "Teach me how to make her listen like she does with you." He said while looking at Muriel.
Muriel let out a cute chuckle as she turned to face the shorter brunette. "You know it's all because my magic touch." She said while holding her hand out showing off her blue light producing from her body.
"Yeah, well I have a magic touch too." Shay said while grabbing his cross necklace.
"Yeah, you might be her creator but I'm the reason why she has feeling and emotions in the first place. I couldn't help the fact that she got attached to me, quite literally."
"Hey, I can only create. How did you expect me to add feeling and emotions in my work. I can only do so much." Shay said in defense.
"Hey, don't go in defensive mode, I'm just telling you my point of view. She listens to me because my abilities cause happiness no matter who I touch. Even if she was fighting my ability, I know she wouldn't because she loves me too much to fight it." Muriel said while looking down at her pale best friend.
"Well anyway. I'm happy she has someone to give her the emotions and feelings she needed. Without you she's just a walking object. No soul, no mind.. Nothing." Shay said while looking down at his feet as his thoughts were wandering back at a time where he lost complete control over his creation.
"Shay, don't think back on that time. She's okay now. Focus on that. These things happened for a reason. If that didn't happen you wouldn't have met me and Molly, hell even Y/N. That was a bad time back then but we are all a big happy family. So let's focus on what's about to happen right here, right now." Muriel said while opening the doors to their bright future.
