章 47: Resolute l

Louisa sank into the plush velvet divan, situated at an angle east of her bed stand. This was the latest invention inside her somewhat refurbished bedroom; that food accident from yesterday did earn her a different treatment after all. She picked up her gaze from the embroidered white tablecloth sleeping on the little stool beside her cushion, glancing around the quiet room. Evidence of that man's sophisticated taste sparked her interest as she flew her orbs all over: the previous bed blanket had gotten changed to something more of a dull red colour. The transition from yellow to dark red was a bit much of a drastic decision on the man's part, but Louisa appreciated the change. She especially welcomed the modification because of how a dozen velvet throw pillows pulled up on the crown of her bed.
