章 24: CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Lorenzo heard his alarm beeping. Someone had triggered one of his sensors. Grumbling, he rose from his bed. Tonight had been one of those nights he found it difficult to sleep, so he took the sleeping pills that has fast become his best friend.

Everything had gone quiet. The same with the attacks. However, he will still investigate tirelessly with Matteo to get to the root of the previous ones.

He couldn't discern how a girl like Natasha could reject his advances. That was something interesting and challenging. Since she didn't like the vanilla way, he would find a way to take what he wants.

He was used to people obeying and giving in to his will, not the other way around.

He stood to his full length, wearing nothing but white socks and gray sweatpants, with a gun in his hand.

He went over to the monitor in his room which oversaw all the cameras and security systems in the house to see who triggered the sensor and where it came from.
