Celine's POV

"Jake?" I couldn't call him something was used to cover my mouth I guess to aid my breathing.

I tried to look around but stopped because of the intensity of the light. I saw Jake's eyes switching. He was mindlinking someone, the stranger. Where was he? He wasn't in the room. How did he bring me back to my body?

"Celine!!!" Chloe screeched.

"She's awake?" Scott peeped before entering the room.

"Man, she's awake." Steel hugged Jake.

Chloe ran to where I was but Jake pulled her back. I still couldn't talk. I was just looking at their reactions. Soon all of them surrounded me and watched me intently.

Gaius walked in a few minutes later and administered something to me. I felt my eyelids close slowly. I could hear Jake growling at him before I shut my eyes.
